If it did play in China it would've been heavily censored, like it was in India. The movie wouldn't work.

There's also the possibility Hollywood will see how much better received films are when more in tone with the source. It's not like they're gonna pump out R-Rated movies just because if the material doesn't call for it. You're unlikely to ever see an R rated Spiderman(Unless maybe it's Carnage) and how many comics really need a R to accurately portray them?

I doubt it would've made much money over there with the heavy censor, because it would barely be a movie. It already made almost 300 million worldwide anyway.

I was talking about R rated movies in general. Although Ghost Rider reboot with R rating would be nice.

Deadpool was everything I wanted it to be and more. I loved so much. One of the best times I've ever had.
