What would it be? Because technically they are divided parts of Kaguya, who is the Juubi. (Or so I heard she was).

Kaguya is an Otsutsuki, so Kurama and the gang would also have the surname Otsutsuki. Under the circumstance that their full name was used.

I think that example only applies to Kurama. because he is a fox, so "Kitsune" (which means fox spirit) would fit with him. But there are no words for "ox spirit" or "slug spirit". Unless you meant his name would be Kurama Kitsune? or Kurama Kyubi? By surname, I meant last name. Just in case you didn't understand.

In many cases, a surname is a family name and many dictionaries define "surname" as a synonym of "family name". In the western hemisphere, it is commonly synonymous with last name because it is usually placed at the end of a person's given name.
