Why do supposed "fans" hate Naruto?

I just wanted it to end because for almost 2 years the story went absolutely nowhere. 102 chapters from the time Toby was revealed to be Obito and the end of the manga. Taking into account breaks where no chapters were released, we're talking around 2 1/2 years worth of chapter releases for a story that could (and should) have been concluded in a matter of months. That's why people wanted the manga to just end already. They were so invested in it that they couldn't stop reading but nothing happened 90% of the time. Almost every chapter that came out was a disappointment. Everybody wanted to see the final fight between Naruto and Sasuke, so what happens? We get 2 years of fighting various bad guys, first Obito then Madara then Kaguya, every 5 or 6 chapters someone got a powerup, and then, FINALLY, we get what we want...for 3 chapters. It was a huge let down and it was building up to be a huge let down and people didn't want it to be a huge let down so they kept calling for it to just end, but that's not what we got.

I actually don't mind "milking" more naruto as in it doesn't effect the main core of this story after chapter 700... People can choose to read it or stop it not like boruto generation is any essential to the story of "NARUTO" as his story has already ended. This is simpily a new era that explores more into the new generation which I'm not fond of any of these carbon copy characters unlike Part 1...


Anyway Im still gonna read Naruto since clearly I've been heavenly invested for a long ass time and also Boruto movie and Naruto the Last ended off a good note for me so why not.

I personally consider myself a "true" fan since I have literally watched and read everything naruto. But I have to agree with some people that the series did become very inconsistent, shallow, and just plain idiotic after the pain arc. In terms of writting and plot Naruto was NEVER something above average but I can't deny that I've had some awsome memories with this series like back when I first witnessed the gara vs lee fight in chunin exams arc l, almost jumping out of my chair with excitement when naruto returned from sage mode training wearing his cloak reminiscent to jariaya,and hell even when sasuke unlocked mangekyo. I grew up watching this "mediocre" manga back, so I have an immense amount of love for it.That even said I do believe as a fan someone does have the right to be critical about the work they watch and yes this manga did have alot of flaws. I personally am looking forward to the future generations even if its milking the manga. I take this series for face value: a crazy ninja fantasy story with cool characters and awsome fights and thats all naruto needs to be for me. If I wanted amazing plot, deep moral themes, and good romance I'd just goread something else. People really shouldn't hate something that was written for entertainment purposes

Reason js Narutos character has nowhere else to go after that arc point as he has already been acknowledged by every single villager in the leaf. The true fans want Naruto to still be a respectable series by the end of it. I can tolerate milking but at least make it good milking, the series is being ruined.

People call Kishi a shitty writer but I thin Naruto up to 699 was amazing. The rest has been below average and it will most likely get worse.

Kishi said he's finally done with the series but it doesn't seem like that at all. Shonen Jump, Studio Pierrot, Viz, Kishi, whoever, are producing crap and using the characters of a great story to sell it.


I just want to see Kishi's new manga that he's working on. Hopefully, he's learned from Naruto and gives us a great manga.
