Well what I know about Orochimaru is he is a person who is very interested in gaining all the jutsus of the world by all means. He needed to live a long time so he created a some what immortal jutsu. Reason being some what is it is only if Curse Marks still around and if someone knows how to summoned him from the Curse Marks. He can be sealed then using the Curse Mark method reborn again. BOOM!!!! He can die by killing him with same methods as anyone else but his body can be reborn again through the Curse Mark method. BOOM AGAIN!!!!!
His fighting style relies on snakes mostly but also wind and earth style. More on the lines of earth style as we have seen with the fight between him and the Third Hokage. He uses his katana also which is able to pierce through almost anything.
What makes him unique is his personalty and how he manipulates basically everyone around him which is similar to the devil using their desires against them to do his bidding. Now this personalty has some what changed when he seen his right hand man Kabuto going down the same path. He doesn't manipulate anyone else but has more of a open mind to other options and what to see how things plan out for example Sasuke now.

Indeed, Orochimaru was focussed on becoming powerful through mastering jutsu. He wanted to make himself immortal through other methods also, via taking the bodies of others and through it gaining their powers. He also really wanted the power of the sharingan but could never get it when he wanted it. He had his methods of escaping injury through the oral rebirth jutsu and coming back through the curse mark like you mentioned. As you can imagine it's weird for me to teach you being Jiraiya and all but i'll try my best.
Kinjutsu is litterally forbidden jutsu, for many reasons. Risks to the user, the power behind it or it just being unnatural. For example again Oral rebirth just isn't natural, it's not really a powerful jutsu or harms the user but its still just wrong. Before we go any further do you have any questions so far?

Yea the sharingan was to gain the jutsus faster I thought. Idk it really wasn't explained to why he wanted the sharingan besides its power which in a sense he would need all the dojutsus to gain all the jutsus in the world lol. Maybe I messed a line or two to why he just wanted the Sharingan. Jiriaya teaching this is weird but we have seen weirder.

I always had a few reasonings why he wanted it. He would of known the story about the sage and his sons and with that the power of the eyes passed down that way. Combine that with what Madara had achieved then itachi managing to wipe out the entire clan, it was a sure power trip for him. Same as he went to take Deva's eyes when he fought Sasori.
Then he will of known of kakashi of the sharingan, copying so many jutsu combine that with his research and he would be able to master even more jutsu that he could possible imagine. That and i can only assume he knew they he could control weaker people with the sharingan too.

I didn't think of it that way. I can actually seeing him doing it for that direction. I know he told Kakashi he wanted the same power he had when they were going to go against each other.

Either way I always wonder why this technique was created when he can use the transformation jutsu.
This technique is best used for when the user is on mission through a village. Only down side is it doesn't cover scent nor chakra signature. Trackers can tell if you really are the real person or not.

While on this form, Orochimaru's bites possess a paralyzing poison and his blood quickly disperses in the air if he is injured, bestowing the same effect. In this form, physical damage is not enough to kill him as he can simply reform by growing more snakes to form his body. The easiest way to defeat him in this form is to seal him or to cut his head off completely. In addition to being virtually immune to physical damage in this form, Orochimaru can use the snakes that compose his body to produce physical attacks with a mid-range radius that possess a physical damage of A-Rank level (counts as a move). While in this form, Orochimaru cannot weave handseals but can use elemental techniques from his mouth (if they don't require handseals and can be released from it). His speed in this form is drastically increased but his mobility and agility are not. The user must be in this form to leave his body and possess a new one through the living reincarnation technique. When using this technique, Orochimaru can emerge from the mouth of one of the heads and use his Kusanagi Sword to attack. This form leaves Orochimaru immune to ninjutsu up to A-Rank and able to take up to 3 S-Ranks without damage. He cannot, however, use Elemental Ninjutsu or Genjutsu while on this form. You say about the transformation jutsu but doujutsu will see through that. With this you take the actual face, and with that it's no longer an illusion as such, that may be the only advantage. Lets face it, if you go and kill the kazekage you can go an pretend to be him? Doesn't that sound like fun? xd

Technically yes, if you are in an official fight and take someones face and have a mod to check it your bio will have that face. So like in the NW do it to make it official. The same as when you take over a ninja's body, make it official and legit you know?

Well i think this could be super useful, if you kill a ninja and take their face you could use that to infiltrate a village as a rogue ninja and such. Might not quite be getting their kg, but it's alot easier to do and the end result can be quite fun. But you get the idea that no jutsu is useless right?

Any and every injury Orochimaru may have suffered beforehand are healed upon possessing the new vessel. To perform this technique, Orochimaru reveals his true form: The Power of The Whiete Snake (a gigantic white snake composed of smaller white snakes), abandoning his current host's body. Orochimaru then swallows the new host and takes him or her to a separate, mental plane where he envelops the mind of his victim. The snake body then dies and falls apart, and Orochimaru's soul dominates the body. The souls of the hosts are kept within Orochimaru, leaving them "still alive", in a sense (albeit suppressed), and when Orochimaru switches hosts, the souls leave with him. It was noted that if the target isn't weakened beforehand, it can still use some techniques to reverse or stop the process.
