Why is the only thing I has ever good for was getting arrested?

I can't return to the scene of the crime, I'm out on pretrial services, then I'll be sentenced, then on probation.

I was trying to write a good Fanfic, thought it was the first time I've had it turn out good.... Then I read another one and gave up....

Drawing was the same, I can't put together a great story or drawing... :(

Well, just keep searching for something that you can do good. Not everyone has a talent for writing or drawing, that doesn't mean you can't do anything. Try several, legal, things and discover what you are good at. Maybe you are a technical person who can build stuff? Or you are very social? I don't know. There are plenty possibilities.
Just don't do illegal stuff anymore. There is never a legit reason for it.

Sounds like your life was pretty shitty or if I am mistaken I am not sure if you understand the English grammar.

I feel you. I tried writing. Writing is hard for me. I'm extremely good at coming up with ideas I find very compelling, but am not the best at translating it to the paper or in this time and age, word document. It gets even worse when you see how many other people are so talented, but if you love it, keep on keeping on. Although my writing has stopped, I've taken my creativity somewhere else. I still think about my ideas and write them down, but I like making youtube videos. Just like writing, there are many more amazing videos than what I make, but nobody will ever truly make what you do. It is your creation and eventually, you'll get better at it. For example, here is my first video:


Now, look at more recent videos:



I am equally proud of all of them, but you can clearly see a difference in quality. It took work and time, but I became better at it. There will always be other videos that will be way better than mine will ever be, but that is okay. Those videos give me inspiration as I said, the videos I make are my ideas coming to life. Every scene, lyric, second, is all my idea coming to life in my vision. Same can be said to writing. It is all you.

But as konan said, maybe something else will be your creative outlet. Writing wasn't mine. I love reading and fiction, but I'm totally okay with it not being mine. I can always go back to it later, as can you, but find what you are not only passionate for, but good at for you.

I don't quite understand but I'm going to assume the first part of the post was just an example of something you are good at but when it comes to something you want and love to do, you're terrible at it?

If that is what you meant to say = You see, a great amount of writers and artists tend to stumble on the same thing and it's not because they're terrible at it but it's because of their need to achieve perfection or something worth spending time on. For example, you came up with an excellent idea and wrote it down but then once you re-read it again, you began to feel this "not good enough" vibe and it's not because what you wrote isn't good enough but because you are not confident in your own talent. You believe you're not good enough but for all we know, you have more talent than you actually knew. If most writers fall victims to their own need for perfection then we wouldn't have some or most of the things we enjoy reading or watching and even listening. Just believe in yourself.

But if that's not what you meant then well, you might want to elaborate a bit more.
