What if Tobi actually synced Sasuke before he met Danzo and Naruto?

His amatersu/enton is formidable enough to threaten anybody but my curiosity is for what purpose would that serve really.
I mean if syncing him to the statue allows him to control it along with the power of his Enton and Susanoo, then that's good for Sasuke. Since Tobi wanted to force Naruto to fight Sasuke.

to sync sasuke with gedo, sasuke needs either rinnegan or hashirama's DNA. So tobi probably planned to give him either nagato's rinnegan or zetsu body.
2nd, yes sync means sasuke would be able to control gedo thus making it usable in battle and also tailed beasts that akatsuki captured can also be used for fights so it would have made sasuke quite powerful along with rinnegan or mukoton as well. Then anything below BSM naruto would have lost to sasuke, but they didn't fight anyway till they had rikudo power and then sasuke did have all tailed beasts and rinnegan so fight wouldn't have been any different.

Alright so this was the point you were trying to make. You should've said it in the first place lol.
So your answer is that Sasuke would be too powerful and foil Madara's plans because syncing him with the statue is benefiting for him.

oh! i think it's coz sasuke was an uchiha and obito felt somehow attached to him. Also he saw potential in him as he saw him battling and made the comment implying that sasuke can become stronger than nagato.
