Well, the strongest Hyuga is Hiashi by a huge gap. Neji certainly couldn't deflect a Juubi tail singlehandedly. But the outcome remains the same; genjutsu solos.

Are you serious? I think Uchiha are stronger than the Hyuga but it's definitely not because of their fire style.

Ok so IMO (and don't freak out) an Uchiha with MS is too much for a Hyuuga. The MS is ridiculously rare though and so it does not speak for the standard strength of the Uchiha clan.

So then, who would win between a standard 3T Uchiha and a standard Hyuuga?

There is nothing to discuss. hyuuga's lose to uchiha's for 3 reasons.

1. no genjutsu resistance
2. taijutsu easily countered by sharingan's perception
3. sharingan enables user to have large arsenal of jutsus.

If an avg uchiha lost to an avg hyuuga it's because that particular uchiha is pathetic.

it comes down to battle of skill. if we are gonna take 3T prime sasuke or itachi or madara then they probably win against any hyuga but if it's some average uchiha then i'd say they are on par. although i wonder how 3T sasuke/itachi/madara vs hiashi go... one on one obviously...

1. Terrible analogy. Genjutsu is the most dangerous ability in the series which is the reason kishi gave certain characters ridiculous abilities just to counter it.
2. Your question is BS. Because the thread directly states 3T. No hyuuga will ever hit a 3t user.
3. There is no manga evidence they can. And even if they could, the fact remains they can get caught in it which leaves them temporarily vulnerable.
