PS4 is better than PS3 in everything performance-wise. Hence the next-gen classification.

Its ridiculous to say PS3 is better since it had trivial features like background change.
I stated it was superior performance wise, but lacking such simple functions is really odd considered this is next gen.

I'm not sure if this can be changed in the setting but even if it's just a default setting is dumb, my complaint: Why does it give you notifications if your friend joins a party, it's so annoying and none of my business, the PS4 doesn't even tell me if my friend comes online or offline but it tells me if they join a party, smh.

Really? That's sad.
I know that such a feature is not very important, but I like to customize backgrounds. Default is always lame, doesn't matter if console or PC. Anyway... I'll have to buy a PS4 just for two games, everything else I can play on PC, which is undoubtedly the best platform.

Fallout 4 seems to be bad on consoles, tho. At least the Xbox One version. Played it on the console of a friend and constantly there were not-loading textures and had annoying NPC-glitches. Not really fun. I've bought in on Steam yesterday, maybe it's better on PC, have to check when I finally get my new one next week.
Can't say anything about PS4, but I wish you luck.

Just Cause gets repetitive very fast. You're just destroying stuff.
But that's just me.

Well, i do prefer a game with rapid online gaming. Maybe the latest call of duty is fitting.

That is just your PS4, perhaps taking a look at the settings may help, especially the ones regarding notifications.
