Why didn't Obito ever..

why didnt he ever attempt to get his other MS from kakashi? He was powerful enough to almost fight on par with the

4th, So i think he could have taken his eye back with low diff. Obito knew that both eyes had to be together to reach

their full potential? Maybe it was just plot, what do you guys think?

mostly yes, but you cant really guess whos behind a mask and cloak, coulda been danzo wanting more eyeball collections; if anything, obito shouldve killed kakashi and get his eye back; leaves no evidence; obito woulda been super OP with double kamui growing up

This answer seems like the best. Kakashi was trash and it was a mangafact in his Gaiden. Why bother taking his developing Copy Sharingan when you have a Mist Village to rape and follow Madara's wishes. The power would have been hax but it is a complete waste of time.

If Tobi ever got is other eye back, Kishi's d*ck would explode.
Tobi was OP enough to gain hashirama cells to use mokuton and together with his uchiha chakra, he was capable of six path powers too. The author had to restrict him as much as he can from using those abilities to the point where people are still coping with Rinnegan Tobi and his senseless restrictions.

It was for the best, we couldn't have people dying anytime soon.

Mainly cause of plot. If he had both of his eyes then kishi would've had to change his abilities cause he would be unbeatable. Also it would make sense that his identity would be revealed, a one eyed Uchiha went for a specific eye? It would be obvious.

Plot. I know everyone is trying to form some reasoning out of this but we've already seen on many occasions that Obito is more than happy to take whatever eyes and powers he needs to succeed. It makes no sense then when you look at how he does that all the time but never once tried to retrieve his eye. IMO Kishi did this simply to keep the Obito/Kakashi mystery alive and to not allow Obito to be too powerful.

Just think about it. Obito vs Konan never would have been as interesting if he had DMS. His biggest fights would be over in seconds.

As for Konoha "knowing" that it would be Obito who stole the eye, I think that's a stretch. Everyone and their uncle wants the sharingan so there's no way of knowing. If Konoha heard that Kakashi was killed theyd prob think another country's ninjas took it. Obito could also just warp Kakashi's body away so no one would find it.

If he came back the next day demanded his eye back and said he was plotting to take over the world obviously kakashi would tell everyone and he wouldnt have been able to manipulate the Akatsuki and such as easily. He would have to kill kakashi, and considering kakashi was always stronger than him as a child, maybe he was scared he wouldnt be able to defeat him. It would have been a lot of effort just to get back one eye, and until the uchiha massacre, there would have been plenty of sharingans up for the taking, not to mention he had madaras rinnegan available.
