Two major things I hope to see from Boruto manga

1. So far we didn't see any battles with Mitsuki or what jutsu he's capable of. The only thing we know is that he can stretch and nothing else. He's by far the most interesting character of the new generation and he's Orochimaru's son!!!

I want to see how they bond as father and son.

2. I really hope we get to see more of Mirai Sarutobi. She's Asuma's daughter and she is already a Chunin who accompanied Kakashi as Hokage. I believe she has the potential to be the real badass female of Naruto.

Mitsuki is just as boring as the rest of them, if not more boring with his Sai 2.0 personality and "Please respect my parent too" crap. The only thing he has going for him is a unique design, unlike the other children who look like their parents, Mitsuki looks more like Toneri (the only character you can compare him to via looks).

Anyway I'm interested in their relationship. When it comes to abilities, he'll be a carbon copy of Orochimaru. This manga lacks originality lol.

I agree that Mitsuki has a promising family story. However, Oro around a child is just...creepy.

And I have a feeling that Mirai won't get much panel time because there aren't any other characters her age.

Just being completely honest. I don't find any of the characters bar Sarada or Boruto interesting, mainly due to the lack of development. However, that doesn't entirely make them good characters by any standard either, they are still lackluster. No the better term would be "shitty ass characters". They truly are. Anyone who thinks Bolt or Sarada are good characters needs to read more :lol

Mitsuki is just as much clone as Shikidai is, and to make matters worse he spouts lines in the movie like "Please respect my father too" or "My parent is more special than both of yours"

And the cold reality on Orochimaru is the fact that he is a cold blooded murderer, child kidnapper, and psychopath. Orochimaru being a father is either going to hurt is character, or, give him an interesting viewpoint in the series. However the former is somewhat shown thus far. He wanks his father, and we have no clue on what he knows about Orochimaru, and his viewpoint on the whole thing is for his team mates to respect his parent like they do their own.

In my opinion he's just as much trash as the rest of them, and lags behind his team mates severely in abilities and personality, whom are at least interesting when it comes to dynamic. Maybe the one shot will give him the development he needs. So far he is the odd one out in his team, and his interactions with Boruto and Sarada weren't much to go by since his lines made him seem like an unnecessary character to the story.
