Do you think that Yahiko would have changed as well? That he would have put up something like Pain in order to seek revenge and peace through sorrow? And that he would have been fooled by Obito as well as Nagato?
I don't think so. Yahiko had a stronger personality than Nagato, I assume that this is one of the main reason Obito waited he died before taking Nagato on the dark side. Also, he wasn't frail as Nagato, he also felt lots of pain and didn't let that overwhelm him. He was more a leader. Ofc we don't know what he could have thought right after his best friend's death.I'm sure Yahiko would have turned into a darker person as well. I don't think he would have ever taken Pain's place though. Obito would have just taken the rinnegan for himself like he always planned to.
Well, this is an universal truthI preferred Yahiko being the wielder of the Rinnegan. Deva Path Pain was so much more badass than Nagato.
No intention to turn this into a Nagato vs Obito thread, but Obito had no experience with Rinnegan at all, and he was also too weak to wield two Rinnegan. Nagato with two Rinnegan (and maybe two decent legs) was a bigger threatHm, I guess he would've become a darker person too. I can imagine him acting like Deva Path (Tendō) on his own.
But he would never be able to control the Rinnegan, meaning that he and Konan wouldn't be as "successful" as the new akatsuki were. I believe they could've taken over Amegakure, but that's it.
Obito would've taken the Rinnegan right away and would've been a bigger threat, because he'd have more experience with the doujutsu, than just two days.
Then Yahiko could have developed another powerful skill, who knows. Anyway, I was focusing more on Yahiko's reactionThen the story is over sines only Nagato had the Rinnegan and was an Uzumaki.
Oh.. sorry xDNo intention to turn this into a Nagato vs Obito thread, but Obito had no experience with Rinnegan at all, and he was also too weak to wield two Rinnegan. Nagato with two Rinnegan (and maybe two decent legs) was a bigger threat
Ah ok ok I didn't understand what you were meaningOh.. sorry xD
I didn't want to say that Obito would be a bigger threat than Nagato with the Rinnegan. You are right of course.
I meant that this "fanfic-Obito" would've been a bigger threat than the canon-Obito, because he had several years of experience with the Rinnegan and not just the two days, that he had in the canon-story.
The blame for Yahiko death was Danzo and with that Obito was able to influence Nagato, sines originally Akauski was formed for peace and justice by Yahiko. And their lies the problem He had to die so that original Akauski could be corrupted by Obito. Sad and true the Manga had people kill that could have given it a total make over in the over all story. Then Yahiko could have developed another powerful skill, who knows. Exactly, but I'm personally convinced that Yahiko wouldn't have been corrupted by Obito's lies. He was a bright guy with strong convinctions about justice and peace, he was very similar to Naruto, maybe more than the young Obito himselfThe blame for Yahiko death was Danzo and with that Obito was able to influence Nagato, sines originally Akauski was formed for peace and justice by Yahiko. And their lies the problem He had to die so that original Akauski could be corrupted by Obito. In the Anime Danzo did that, obito killed all the early akatsuki to prevent them from helping.actually wonder if Obito was partially indirectly responsible for Yahiko's death maybe by convincing Hanzo that the Akatsuki back then was a threat. Afterall, I remember Yahiko being the one who doubted Obito when he first approached them.
It's also a similar scenario to what Madara did to turn Obito to his side as well. Obito was unaware that Madara was indirectly responsible for Rin's death so it'd be cool if Obito ended up thinking of the same thing as well to turn Nagato to his side.
If Nagato would've died instead, Yahiko might've actually died against Hanzo and his men...
If he somehow survived though then I actually think he wouldn't turn bad though. Nor do I believe he would listen to Obito.
Precisely what I think.. He could even become a sort of spiritual mentor for Narutoactually wonder if Obito was partially indirectly responsible for Yahiko's death maybe by convincing Hanzo that the Akatsuki back then was a threat. In the anime Danzo tricked that poor good soul of Hanzo to kill the Akatsukis, when in the manga it doesn't happenIn the Anime Danzo did that, obito killed all the early akatsuki to prevent them from helping.![]()
