I honestly think Sakura is pretty strong, and a great healer. But that's all she has going for her. She has no type of variety, leaving her vulnerable against several types of opponents like the
I honestly think that she should have had some improvements in speed, reaction and close quarter combats. She lacks variety.
1. After learning and understanding the technique taught to her by Tsunade, she could have went to Gai seeking guidance on how to apply that strength in combat. She honestly has so much potential, but is given no opportunity to nurture it. Honestly, how could Tsunade teach her such a powerful taijutsu technique without teaching her how to apply it appropriately in close quarters combat. All Sakura does is jump towards her opponent and swings her fist, hoping to get a one shot. She has no form or any type of stance. I know learning the gates is extremely hard, but learning Tsunade's strong fist technique isn't easy. It's all just a matter of commitment to become stronger. I think Kakashi could open more gates if he wanted to, he just doesn't have the passion to keep trying.
2. She could have learned how to open at least one gate from Kakashi and/or another gate from Gai. That would help her so much in her Reaction and Speed capabilities.
3. She's not a weapon person, so I don't see her having a type of weapon. However, she could have learned a thing or two about Genjutsu from Kurenai. I mean literally all she has is strength and healing feats, she has no variety, doesn't even have a canon way of using her strength more effectively. Kurenai could have taught her what she knows about Genjutsu, allowing Sakura to be way more useful in battle. If you're going to be a supplement or assistance in Naruto's battles, the least you could do his learn some more long range or more effective techniques. You can just dive in towards your opponents and expect not to get smacked back.
What do you guys think about my list? What do you think could be given to Sakura to help her improve?
