[VS] Post-Timeskip Luffy vs Crocodile

People give Crocodile mad hype when in reality in the war of the best he was an even bigger ant than Luffy there. However, he managed to go up against, Whitebeard, Jozu, Doflamingo, Mihawk, Sengoku and Akainu and come out of the whole war with minimal injuries. However, he's also the same guy who got his ass kicked by Luffy early in the series without haki, Gear Second, Third or Fourth. Fanboys make excuses like Luffy losing twice before winning but all he needed to do was hit him and when he was able to do that Crocodile was inferior in a fight. The same Luffy would never have beaten Doflamingo regardless of what condition Doflamingo was in if he were in Alabasta instead. Luffy using the water and blood on Crocodile were substitutes for haki so he would be able to hit him, but that's no problem for post-timeskip Luffy. So take Crocodile and replace him with Doflamingo as the villian of Dressrosa. How long would he last in a fight against Luffy?

You think he needs any gears against Croc lol? He is as fast as Gear Second pre timeskip in his base. Also he's much stronger than before, a pistol probably has twice the force it had. He can also survive his poison hook incase he gets cut which I doubt will happen.

Who knows I've taken 2y of training to Croc too so yeah...unless it is Croc pre-ts?

So for people who say Crocodile could also get better over the TS, it'd probably make no more than a small difference compared to Luffys own growth. Like you said, the water was a substitute for haki, and it enabled Luffy to do some extremely damaging hits. Let's not forget Luffy was knocking on deaths door, so he was no doubt pretty weak, and still took him out, with no gears. He's atleast twice that strong is his base, and full health with haki is straight overkill.
I feel like Crocodile fanboys might say he underestimated him. That's a shitty argument, as that first hit that he really felt should be enough to make him realize he needs to be serious. Base Luffy wins, mid diff at best.

First thing, 2nd Luffy V Croc happened underground where surprisingly Luffy had enough blood to use it constantly for landing a hit on Croc. And instead of going for his awakened DF ability (Dehydration+Disintegration), he ought to fight a close ranged fight with his hooked arm...

Second thing, when used actually, Croc's DF can turn him into a beast who can go toe to toe with many high-tiers who aren't close ranged combatants... TS-Luffy(@full) will definitely thrash Croc, even bad than he somehow did back then, but w/o gears; Luffy will be dead...
Point to be noted, if Croc uses his DF with full potential...
