It comes down to what you are measuring them with. For battle-aggressiveness and who has a more foul chakra, I say Sasuke has him beat. In terms of common sense, Sasuke has him beat, depending on what it is. I think that in terms of being a better person and better parent, Naruto is definitely stronger.

When it comes to battle, while both have techniques that the other may not, I find the stronger person to be the last one standing. That is, let's say that Sasuke and Naruto both were on their last technique before passing out from exhaustion and Sasuke used the last attack, whoever gets up first is the stronger one.

Yes, because I voted before reading. I wasn't expecting a discussion worthy thread... this is NB after all lol.

Naruto being wealthier due to being a hokage was only a byproduct, that's completely true, but also the reason why (imo) you can't compare them. Naruto's goal was to influence people and to be accepted. The best goal for that was becoming Hokage. Hokage means power, respect and influence. Both categories would therefore immediately go to Naruto, as that was what his character stood for the whole manga.

Sasuke's character on the other hand stands for redemption, revenge and the seek of justice. All these things have been accomplished by him as well.

There's no way naruto would ever be on one level with Sasuke when it comes to revenge/redemption, but there's also no way for Sasuke to be as influential as Naruto. See what I mean?

It's exactly why I made the title as click bait to weed out who actually read the thread. Half of the people complaining about the content voted for their fav despite what they've said otherwise.

And yes I see what you're saying. Naruto and Sasuke as people and what they represent to the world are valued differently. Naruto carries more weight to the world (from the perspective of most of the NV) than sasuke does despite them being equal (Both children of the prophecy) due to Naruto's influence, likability, power, and accolades and accomplishments. To everyone else, the world requires Naruto but probably desires Sasuke's original plan due to what Hagoromo said. Sasuke would never have the same position Naruto has and vice versa.

But in the end the only way it wouldn't end as equals was if Sasuke's views were different from Naruto (like Vote 2 and most of part 2) which they currently aren't.

Especially given that Naruto's been taking an office job for a few years now and Sasuke doesn't have an arm. No. This wasnt battle of ideals for Sasuke. He wanted to kill Naruto physically but couldnt do this even extra power-up. Even if this battle ended as a "draw" you cant ignore fact that both of them had different reasons to fight.

Even if they had different reasons for fighting they both ended up with the same physical damage and both would have died if Sakura didn't heal their arms... Also peoples opinions don't really matter since once again Kishi the creator said they are equal.
