Well, you realized that Hagoromo is an awful written character. Congratulations :p

Number 1 is one of the biggest plotholes ever created, not only in Naruto, but overall in fiction.
I already stated that in another thread a few weeks ago. Hagoromo as a Jinchuuriki of the Juubi doesn't make any sense.
We know that Hagoromo and Hamura sealed Kaguya's body (the Gedo Mazo) into the moon, instantly. The exact same way how Naruto/Sasuke did it. So he never had the Gedo Mazo sealed within his body. Leading to the plot-hole when Kurama explained to Minato how Obito could still be alive when he lost all the Bijuu-chakra. Kurama said that Hagoromo survived the creation of the Bijuu too, only because he had still the Mazo within himself, which is impossible.
And that makes Obito and Madara basically a more complete Juubi-Jinchuuriki, because both of them had the actual body of the Juubi with its massive life-force sealed within their bodies. Hagoromo did not.

Kishimoto failed so hard, trying to introduce Kaguya and the truth behind Zetsu properly in the very last chapters of his story.

Actually, Kurama said that the Mazo was sealed in Hagoromo. Thus making it a plot hole.

Incorrect. The Mazou was stated several times to be in the moon, and Black Zetsu stated Madara summoned the Mazou from the moon. Whatever translation you read that in is probably ass as ****.

None of them are plotholes tho...

Either you guys just want something to moan about or cba to find a logical explanation. I've already explained it in my last post anyway.

Hagoromo was the last well written character. Why? Because Kishi had been carefully devising his future since the Pein Arc. And as a character, he's living proof that being godly powerful and kind doesn't make you infallible or invincible.

Epitomises the flaws of human character.

It was never said that Hagoromo summoned the Gedo Mazo from the moon after he and Hamura defeated Kaguya. The two brothers did the exact same sealing-thing like Naruto/Sasuke when they fought against kaguya aka the Juubi.

I doubt it was a translation error, since it was explaining how Obito survived having the tailed beast removed from him and showed a panel of Hagoromo. But I'll have to check.

Read my last post on the first page.

Yeah, but the final databook gave a completely different story.

“The ancestor of the shinobi of the moon, Ootsutsuki Hamura… Would it be easier to understand if I said he was the younger brother of the ancestor of Earth’s shinobi, the Rikudou Sennin? You of the Hyuuga clan inherited Hamura’s blood…”

“!”

“It’s a story from the distant past, thousands of years ago…”

The on-screen Toneri began to quietly tell the tale.

Chakra originated from a giant tree called the “Shinju.” The Shinju bore fruit only once every one thousand years—a “chakra fruit” so to speak. Queen Ootsutsuki Kaguya ate this fruit, and gained an enormous amount of chakra within her body. Using that power, Kaguya subdued the conflicts of the human world. After that, Kaguya gave birth to two sons. They were the brothers Ootsutsuki Hagoromo and Hamura.

The Shinju however, took on the form of a powerful beast in order to take back its stolen fruit, and began to attack human villages. This was the origin of the Juubi. The two brothers, who had inherited their mother’s chakra, worked together, and at the end of a life or death struggle, they succeeded in sealing the Juubi inside the older brother’s abdomen. Hagoromo became the first jinchuuriki.

Creating “ninshuu” after that, Hagoromo, who had become the Rikudou Sennin, became the ancestor of Earth’s shinobi. Hagoromo regarded the Juubi sealed in his abdomen as dangerous. That immeasurable power might bring catastrophe to the world. Creating the nine bijuu, he divided the Juubi’s chakra into nine and bestowed it upon the bijuu, attempting to disperse its power.

The empty shell of the Juubi’s body from which the chakra had been extracted was referred to as the Gedo Statue. The Gedo Statue was a chakra container—if the chakra that had been divided into nine parts was once again gathered and returned to the statue, the Juubi would be revived. To prevent the Juubi from ever being resurrected, Hagoromo created a new celestial body, naming it the moon, and confined the Gedo Statue there.

The younger brother Hamura and his clan immigrated to the moon, and chose to live as guards of the Gedo Statue.

I guess they didn't created a moon in that moment. Interesting....

Hago had a 3rd eye without being a jin? Interesting.....

Do you see a moon? or even what they are doing? Kishi is too vague...but at least some mystery is left to talk about.

Wait, I made an error.

Hagoromo's power stages mirrored her mother in reverse.

1) Became the Juubi's Jin. (entirety)
2) Came to old age, took the chakra and used Banbutsu Souzou to create the Bijuu.
3) Lived a while longer.
4) On his deathbed, used Rikudou CT with his brother to seal the Mazo.

No need to find fault where there isn't any.

They wasn't performing Chibaku tensei?

Kaguya looked at Sasuke and Naruto as if it was the same exact moment with her sons.

@ bold and underlined.
This!
Some people seem to not have basic understanding of stylistic device.
Hagoromo and Hamura were placed there with purpose. It should show us readers that Naruto/Sasuke defeated Kaguya the exact same way she was defeated the first time. So she was sealed into the moon by Hagoromo and Hamura, instantly. Only the chakra was left, which leads to the plot-hole of Kurama's explanation concerning Obito's surviving.

What was the first thing that happened after they touched her though? Her powers were sealed...They could've stopped half way.

Hagoromo made a hand-seal also...before the rocks started being attracted to Kaguya.

Sounds like you refuse to believe that there is a plot hole about Hagoromo.

Here it is:

"Ever since "humans" were given form, they have fought each other and walked in a world of war. The earth was stained with blood, and as if it were absorbing that blood for nourishment, the Shinju took root in the earth. Eventually the Shinju beared a single fruit, and a certain clan came from another world seeking that fruit: the Ootsutsuki clan. Kaguya, leader of the Ootsutsuki, ate the fruit and became the progenitor of all chakra, and with her absolute power brought peace to the world in an instant.

After ending the turbulent era, she became known as the Rabbit Goddess and received the blessing of the people, giving birth to twins. But after that, Kaguya would occasionally use harsh means to rule the people as a dictator. The Byakugan, Sharingan, and Infinite Tsukuyomi - the people feared and respected the jutsu Kaguya wielded. Eventually, the "Rabbit Goddess" became known as a demon instead. And then, Kaguya became ruled by her desire to make all chakra her own.

To make all chakra one - Kaguya's desire eventually turned on Hagoromo and Hamura, her own twin sons with whom she had split her chakra. Kaguya formed a plan, and in order to take in all chakra, fused with the Shinju and battled against her twin sons.

The twins, assuming that the Juubi was a transformed Shinju attacking them in order to reclaim the chakra that was taken from it, faced off against it. And after a fierce battle, they activated Rikudou Chibaku Tensei. They turned it into the moon and sealed it away.

Caption next to Hamura on the last page: The Gedou Mazou, the remaining shell of the Juubi, was sealed in the moon. Hamura took command of the clan to watch over the Mazou."

Didn't happen on his death bed but right after the battle like the flashback showed.

This looks copied from the wiki. Manga pages?

It was translated from the databook when it came out.

There is also that panel from the manga showing that is the case.

Read the last sentence again. The shell of the Juubi was in the moon. The chakra was made into the Tailed Beasts.

Didn't he create the moon on his deathbed? didn't that happened after he had his sons? so that happened after when they defeated their mother.

Sage of the six paths absorbed their mother... then on his deathbed he created the moon.
