We have see a total of 4 characters that used gudodama/chakra rods in the entire manga...So how does a person gain the ability to use chakra rods...is it the rinnegan..is it the senjutsu of SOSP? What exactly are the requirements that need to be fulfilled?

Chakra Rods = a physical manifestation of the users will, a Yin-Yang ability.

Truth Seeker Balls = a black malleable chakra comprised of the five nature transformation (earth, fire, wind, water, and lightning) and Yin-Yang; granted by the Six Path chakra or Juubi Jichuuriki.

Rinnegan doesn't grant chakra rods. Naruto had them when he 1st activated RSM against madara. I think it's just rikudo chakra period.

Naah its not that simple....remember Peins chakra rods and Madara's...they were different....Pein's were easily broken with Naruto's taijutsu and he was even able to touch them while on touching Madara's rods you lose the movement....Isn't that how he incapacitated 1st and 2nd Hokage? please correct me if i am mistaken

u have to possess rinnegan in order to use those chakra rods because those chakra rods are made up of a special type of matter made up of atleast 3 different kind of elements or more which requires a rinnegan for controlling and giving shape to that matter

chakra rods come from the gedo mazou while the six path rods can trace back to the juubi senjutsu, ironically enough they're both the same. Rinnegan users can touch both rods without being effected by it.

TSB could be shaped into those rods, tsb comes from six paths senjutsu.

i think they are the same. The rods are chakra receivers so the more potent the chakra, he worse the effect. Just like momoshiki's chakra rods could paralyse adult Naruto. Doubt Madara's would have the same effect on him.

I'm not saying chakra rods don't come from the gedo statue. Im saying the don't come from gedo exclusively. Rinnegan users can also create them from their bodies.

And TSB is not proof of rikudou senjutsu. Toneri had tsbs too.
