♠ Much like the original Chuunin exams, everything is a surprise and with that, it includes what each ninja can use. All of you are strangers, none of you know the others kgs or abilities. You are strangers, so none of this "knowing you're an uchiha i look at your chin". In this round at least.
♠ Situation: It's the Ninja world chuunin exams and people have come from all over the world for this Amazing event. The chuunin exams and we've all been training for it. Due to the high number of people taking part, Jiraiya decided it was best to have a knockout round to kick things off. So all students were gathered in the stadium with only the other participants watching. Each match up was chosen randomly and would take part in the chuunin arena where Naruto fought Neji. But what everyone needed to remember, was firstly everyone could see their skills, so what they used to win in this round could be known to all in the next round. Secondly, the chuunin exams some times went on for days, how much time would they have to rest to replenish their chakra?

It was finally that time of the year, when ninjas from all over the world gather for a grand chuunin exam event. Many of the participants were very nervous and a young Akimichi girl sitting on the sofa near the entrance wasn't an exception.
She was so nervous that she was continuously eating the pudding that she brought with herself without looking at the other people. Relax, I am going to win this, I am going to win this.... The young akimichi girl was continuously blabbering to herself, while having the pieces of pudding. She was going on and on, when she suddenly heard a voice from behind.
Mewww... There was a cute cat standing behind her, that she didn't noticed before. The cat looked hungry and gave her that typical kawai look.

Go away you bastard..Shew, shew.. The young Akimichi girl wanted to scream, but decided to stay silent instead. Cat although didn't stop, she continued giving her the same kawai look and the same old kawai sound. Akimichi girl couldn't hold back and finally lowered her plate a little bit. So that she can offer that cat something..
Here, have som.. Before the girl could offer cat some pudding, cat jumped in a vein and quickly grabbed the plate in her mouth, passed over the leap of the girl and landed on the other side.
The Akimichi girl was watching in awe, as the cat suddenly transformed back revealing a young girl with plate in her hand, who took the bite of the pudding, before the akimichi girl could even react.

How dare you, do that to me with that transformation jutsu, you prick... The Akimichi girl was angry and smashed her fist on the wall. Chelsea figured out that probably she is going to be the next that is going to get smashed and ran away with the plate as fast as she can.
So, Chelsea Mandalore goes next... Chelsea heard an announcement out of nowhere, that forced her to leave pudding behind. Her attempt of cheering up someone apparently did failed.
Chelsea left the plate near the entrance and walked towards the arena. She already killed many people in the past, she was a coldblooded murderer after all. This time though something really different was waiting for her. It was an arena where she had to fight anyone that appears in front of her and that was bothering her the most. She had her nonchalant and cool look on the face, but despite of all those acts and tricks, she was sad somewhere. Sad with the fact that she might have to kill one of her own comrade, something that she particularly avoided till today. Although, her past life taught her that she had to be emotionless to survive in this corrupt world, but comradeship was the bond she never withered till today. She entered into the arena with her normal vocalist like attire. She had her headphone like accessories on her head and had her katana strapped on her back, for kenjutsu purpose.
She had all those thoughts of past fights in her mind accompanied by a glimpse of nervousness. She removed a lollipop from her ninja pocket and then put it in her mouth. Now, I am ready... Suddenly, the nervous looks on her face turned into brim of confidence as she walked into the arena.

His name was called and He grins trying to figure out the unlucky fellow who would be unfortunate enough to face him in battle. He hope the person is not a child though when He is killing vampires, He knows no kid and cannot differentiate an old vamp from a baby ghoul. he reflexively utters
Curse you, Bloody heathen.

Though He has not known his opponent but Priest is not someone to show mercy in battle, expecially the one that will prove to the heathen the glory and invincibility of God and His holy servants.

Priest upon entering the arena, would now see the young lady he is about to fight but due his experience, He is not one to underestimate anyone. To him, it is the slimest and youngest vampire and demon that are most dangerous and cunning. Although they have always been in awe and fear of his own power. He himself is a fearless person, immune to bites and infections from vampires. His keen sense of hearing allowing him to distinguish the living from the dead though some appears living. Priet is able to differentiate them by the beating of their heart. He is also quick and have immense love for Bayonets, blades, barriers, Scriptures and Curses. Which one would his new adversary have to taste first? The exorcism? or instant decapitation?. Only time will tell.

Priest fiddle with his cricifix while entering the Arena and on getting before his opponent. He grins and claps into a praying stance.
Lord have mercy on the one before me, for she knoweth not what she is about to do.
He continues his prayer
In nomine et patre et fille et spiritus sancti.
He hold his crucifix and kisses it while doing a cross gesture by taping his forehead and shoulders. He decided not to speak to the one before him as the living don't interact with the dead except the are being expelled from the living.

Though while Priest claps in a praying stance, He already erected an invisible holy barrier, marking the place an holy ground and whoever who is a sinner would soon be purged from the world.

Chelsea finally entered into the main arena and observed that an interesting individual was her opponent. He was a middle aged blonde man and the fearlessness with which he walked into the arena clearly was an indication that he must have been quiet an experienced fighter. She also observed the man had scar on his cheek, proving further that he must have been through dangerous fights.
I would like to know your name before we start.
Chelsea wasn't expecting any reply, but it was all about the manners in the end. She always wanted to be a classy individual and there was no way she can give away this opportunity. She also knew a man like this shouldn't be taken lightly and hence followed every movement of this fearsome individual. Before Chelsea could assess the situation further, man in front of her clapped his hands and then entered into some kind of weird stance. She didn't know what he was up for, but one thing for sure he was up for something crazy and hence going at close range would be really harmful. Direct attack from long range would also be foolish and it wasn't her style, but then question was how to find an opening. She has to do something to get close. She was an experience fighter by herself and it hardly took her a moment to come up with an excellent idea.
She quickly gathered katon chakra in her lungs and then converted it into a huge fireball. She then sent this huge fireball towards the Priest who had just clapped his hands and entered into that weird stance.

This jutsu will attack Priest head on and at the same time will block his vision, making it difficult for him to see Chelsea's next move. The fireball will also engulf Priest in flames if not countered and hence might burn him severely.
Chelsea knew that the stance the guy took earlier must have some significance, probably some sensing ability or something like that. There were fair amount of chances that he can see this one coming and easily counter it and hence Chelsea didn't waste a single moment and switched to next offensive.
When Priest's vision was blocked due to this hell fire jutsu, Chelsea started running backwards and created a shadow clone in her previous position. Her clone was formed at the exact position where she was standing before a while.

Chelsea stopped at about 13 meters and then started running at her left hand side in an arc like manner and her clone did the same and followed her so closely that viewer might feel like her clone is mimicking her though at a smaller radius. From your point of view, both for same angle from your sight and hence you will be able see only Chelsea. They both ran around the circumference of your barrier, with Chelsea out of the barrier and the clone running along the barrier.
When Chelsea's clone reached at the distance of about 7 meters from you, Chelsea's clone and Chelsea both stopped in their tracks. Chelsea's clone ducked down a little, giving Chelsea an opportunity to remove three kunais and then send them towards you just above the clone's head. They are directed at the middle of your chest, forehead and throat.
Chelsea's clone upon ducked down brought her two hands together and channeled lightning through it, allowing lightning to crackle between it. Then the clone used her favorable position to slam her hands on the ground and hence sending the electric current towards Priest, which will race though earth. Upon reaching near Priest it will be converted into four tendrils with one of them attacking Priest’s waist from behind, one attacking his waist from front, just below previous one and last two attacking Priest from sideways.
Since Priest probably didn't see Chelsea forming a clone and since Chelsea and her clone followed identical paths, almost mimicking each other, Priest might be a bit surprised with the dual attack.

The kid would not even allow him to tell him his name before she starts her assault. looking at her aggressive response and fire attack, Priest secures his own assurance that the kid is not innocent one and instead she is rather foolish to attempt to take out a man whose sworn mission is to rid the world of evil and blemish.

Priest hisses while doing another clap in response to the fire.

Come, Holy Water!

Water would form from nowhere and envelope the fireball meeting it before it could reach halfway of its destination.
Holy water, the no 1. instrument of a clergy and vampire slayer. Comes in handy in this kinds of situation.

As you begin to move backwards, Priest would sense you and he would also move closer by moving the same distance you are moving. The barrier moves with him though.You shouldn't run. You started this, naughty girl. Curse you.
As you make the clone though, Priest would immediately know and you are both instantly in his curse though unknown to you. The moment you make the clone. The clone sees something weird while the same happened to you. You will see your clone suddenly dash beside you with a stance which depicts that he already made a slash. Blood will erupt from your slit throat as you gasp for air but blood escapes into and fills your lungs. You will fall on the ground helpless, unable to move and dying. The same happen to your clone and instead would see you slash his throat and because a normal clone isn't able to withstand the mental trauma, would poof away.

While still moving towards you and in your current predicament. Priest retrieves 8 small bayonets inbetween his ten fingers and hurls them towards you. Four straight forward while the remaining four move upwards and approaches you from above.

Chelsea just formed a clone in front of her and ran behind and out of the barrier(she doesn't know if there is a barrier, just posting it for our reference). When she observed that suddenly out of nowhere, the clone started running towards her. It was surprising because she never ordered her clone to do so.
Chelsea was surprised, but it didn't take her much to figure out that it is probably doing of the opponent in front of her, but what type of attack is it?? Has her opponent got weird power of controlling clones or other objects that are at a certain distance from him?? Chelsea was astonished, but before she could do anything about it, the clone did a weird thing.
She observed that the clone appeared besides her with a stance that indicated that she already slashed her. She observed that the blood started oozing out from the place where she supposedly slashed her, but wait.....Something was missing. If her clone did slashed her, then why she never felt the pain?? Why she never got the sensation of being cut or why it never hurt immediately after she slashed her?? Also, she observed that the clone that was standing besides her was in such a position that she already cut her, yet there was no kunai or weapon in her hand. She used jutsu, that too in such a small time frame?? It was difficult, also what about pain?? Why there was no cutting sensation??
This added to the suspicion of Chelsea further. It was almost like her visual senses were depriving her, when other senses were intact. Thoughts raced through her mind and due to all this suspicious stuff, she reached to one conclusion: It is genjutsu.
She knew the simplest way get out of it and that was using kai. She waved tiger like handseal and then disturbed her chakra flow, creating spike of spiritual energy. This unbalanced her chakra and hence released her out of your genjutsu.

After disappearing Chelsea ran inside the ground, in your direction. Chelsea observed one more thing from your previous move using her clone and that was, when she tried to run behind and formed clone in front of her, you also ran towards her.
It was again suspicious. She was already suspicious about the stance at the beginning of the battle and already started having doubts. The man followed it up with a genjutsu, where range isn't much of a factor. So why he moved?? Chelsea started thinking.
Does that have to do with the fact that he wanted to keep me in the range of his very first jutsu he performed?? But what was that jutsu?? Wait, he put my clone in genjutsu, but managed to put me as well, when his vision was blocked by my clone and probably by the mist that followed that...He doesn't have a sharingan or dojutsu activated, so it has to be sensing.
It didn't took very short time for Chelsea to figure out that the man's jutsu was sensing and whose range is roughly around 10 meters. She decided to use this analysis to her advantage as she appeared behind you at the distance of about 11 meters. The distance where Priest can't sense her.
She then decided to attack Priest from behind, as she waved a single(ram hand seal), gathered chakra in her lungs, converted it in the form of wind and then sent a huge blast of wind towards Priest's position from point blank range, where not even his sensing can see the attack coming. This attack will send him flying further away and will damage him heavily.

Chelsea just formed a clone in front of her and ran behind and out of the barrier(she doesn't know if there is a barrier, just posting it for our reference). When she observed that suddenly out of nowhere, the clone started running towards her. It was surprising because she never ordered her clone to do so.
Chelsea was surprised, but it didn't take her much to figure out that it is probably doing of the opponent in front of her, but what type of attack is it?? Has her opponent got weird power of controlling clones or other objects that are at a certain distance from him?? Chelsea was astonished, but before she could do anything about it, the clone did a weird thing.
She observed that the clone appeared besides her with a stance that indicated that she already slashed her. She observed that the blood started oozing out from the place where she supposedly slashed her, but wait.....Something was missing. If her clone did slashed her, then why she never felt the pain?? Why she never got the sensation of being cut or why it never hurt immediately after she slashed her?? Also, she observed that the clone that was standing besides her was in such a position that she already cut her, yet there was no kunai or weapon in her hand. She used jutsu, that too in such a small time frame?? It was difficult, also what about pain?? Why there was no cutting sensation??
This added to the suspicion of Chelsea further. It was almost like her visual senses were depriving her, when other senses were intact. Thoughts raced through her mind and due to all this suspicious stuff, she reached to one conclusion: It is genjutsu.
She knew the simplest way get out of it and that was using kai. She waved tiger like handseal and then disturbed her chakra flow, creating spike of spiritual energy. This unbalanced her chakra and hence released her out of your genjutsu.

The kid was actually going backwards and increasing the distance between herself and Priest. Priest thinks in his mind the girl must be a coward or something but He liked the look in her face. Seems reverse was the case now as the girl stylishly runs for her dare life.

She had released herself from Priest's curse, but that does not mean she's brave. Is it fear? In fact Fear is the root of all sin and no sinner would go unpunished" Priest thought. This fact alone would cause Priest to mark the girl totally for divine punishment.

The girl would hurl some kunais in a pitiful attempt to distract Priest from attacking her and He would slap the first away with his right palm making it disappear though he feigns his hand into a holding pose as if he caught the kunai. The second kunai which is aimed for his head would be dodged by just tilting his head to his left. All this he does and so he still keeps his sight on you and sees you begin to merge into the ground.

Priest almost felt pity for the ninja as she tries hard but its not his way to pity someone who fights him. He watches as you sink completely into the ground and He could almost burst into a laugh to the kind of ninja the one before him is as the rule of concealment which is one of the basic rule was broken.

Immediately you are completely submerged in the ground, Priest know that eventually you would come poping out again. So he prepares a suprise for you. He would tilt his head downward after a single handseal and spits a stream of water on the ground which lifts him up and build into a large wave of water. His aim was fulfilled. Fill the terrain with water 30m deep so that by the time you emerge from the ground, you will be at the bottom and would have no choice but to hurry upwards for survival.

Priest stays calm on the surface of the water above while being as silent as a graveyard. He observes closely with his feet and eyes, the water for any sort of vibration and disturbance which would depict your emergence.

The main thing to consider is, however, the lack of momentum the object will carry once it appears. In this case, to be used as an attack, gravity and other forces might be necessary to exploit to give maximum effect. Techniques that are not physical or tangible in nature like fire, lightning or wind will not be able to be called forth as once they are replled and sent away, they lose their shape and disperse wherever the user might have sent them. Fire and Lightning will also damage the user upon making contact with the paws making the paws unusable for 2 turns. The size of the target is relevant and proportional to the rank within the clan being that the maximum size it can affect is up to 10 times the users mass.

Chelsea went underground, but before she could merge with the ground, she observed one more thing, Priest did saw her. She knew it killed the basic purpose of concealment as not even her kunais worked as a proper distraction. She was foolish to expect that they will. When she was underground, she saw that water started dripping out of the ground above her, as if she was under the lake.
Now, that triggered some thoughts in her mind. There was no water source when she merged with the ground. So her opponent must have performed some water jutsu to flood the arena. Interesting move to bring her out and determine her position, but she had her own tricks up on her sleeves. Rather than unmerging according to her previous plans, she unmerged earlier, at the distance of about 7 meters, essentially mid range behind Priest's previous position(Chelsea still doesn't know where Priest is standing on top of the water).
She knew she needed to find an opening and Priest will determine her position if she rises out of the water or makes some rusty movement inside it. So she needed to do something quick and she knew what she has to do. She waved handseals in a quicker sequence(water, second specialty) and then converted the water source in the battlefield in the form of a giant spinning column of water, which she then turned into a giant snake like creature of water with grappling jaw. Since Chelsea is manipulating the water source in the entire battlefield(your technique was B-Rank, so water will be just enough for my next jutsu), you will loose your footing and hence will fall down on the ground.
This snake aroused in between you and Chelsea at the distance of about 5 meters from you and then will come down at you from there and will devour you. After devouring you, it will be converted into stream of water that will carry you away in the opposite direction.

Description: After performing the required hand seals Monkey → Rat → Tiger → Dragon → Horse → Dragon it then allows the user to generate a spinning column of water which will take the form of a snake with a gaping jaw. This snake can twist and follow its targets and swallow them. After it has swallowed them, it turns into a river that carries the enemy away.

Since, Chelsea knew that pressure of this water can also carry it along with her and hence she formed the column of water in between her and Priest. Also as an additional precaution, she slammed her katana into the ground just in front of her when she unmerged and then used it as an anchor when the water slammed with the opposite side of the arena alongside Priest and returned back to her as a reaction wave, as well as when she converged the water in the form of pillar. She didn't forget to her breath as well.
After the water covered her again, she then stood on top of her katana which was stabbed in the ground and then jumped towards the water surface, by applying the force on katana to gain momentum and get a reaction force back(more like what Sasuke did against Deidara in their fight, though my momentum will be lesser, unlike Sasuke since he had wing).
After gaining the momentum due to the above movement, Chelsea then leaped towards the water surface and rose out of it. She then channeled chakra into her feat and stood on the water source and looked down at the Priest who was now at the bottom of the water source.
If you can do the trick, I can do the same too you know. Chelsea smirked like a child as she stood on top of water waiting for you to counter.

Though this was an interesting match to read, Arrow i feel you put in too much writing to say something in a more simple manor. You use the elements well, but not enough to gain control in the fight. Not gonna lie: Hellfire and lightning aren't really stealth. Large fire attack and lighting is loud. Granted attack prevention suits this, but then the giant wind blast? Stealth is about going undetected and dispatching your foe, not using such large scale jutsu.

If you went stealth, i'd use cammo technique, mist, silent homocide, illusions... you know?

I was talking about hellfire only. It was supposed to cover me up, while I go and form shadow clones. Mist and silent homicide were next up on my radar after this. Though RL kept me busy enough and Priest is good RPer and fighter as well(yes, not taking anything away from him and I congratulate him for his victory), so I had to counter his moves and make sure that his barrier goes undetected(hence the giant wind blast). Anyways, I have no complaint with your decision, just had the complaint with your abstract argument of not using water and wind enough, even if they were my specialties.
I also want to bring up that not having well known characters did caused problems for people like me in this tournament, which leads me to believe that you might need a helping hand down there.

Not going to lie, i don't know priests bio at all. Well i didn't until this event but first of all i read the fight and see general skills. So like did you set up for smooth and good combos. Priest's persona and out right use of his bio that, is in a sense a priest, bit mental in my eyes but you get the general idea. It's a setback with his barrier, but that was good on his part saying it's a holy barrier. Just full bio feel from reading his bio. When i look at a fight, first thing i do it go to your bios look at clan, personality and specialities, then read the fight. Then double check them for skills in general. And for a bio that's meant to be smart and have a laugh with water and wind, you didn't give it off as well as i would have hoped.

Just because i didn't write an essay don't think i don't put thought into my decision or look into the actual fights. I've never seen tower of god or hunter x hunter, but i still went and watched fights and read their wiki's to get a better idea for lyte's fight and Jokey's.

This is what makes the difference here.

Why not take opinions from others? Because i do, but i select certain people of unbiased judgement who i've seen to judge things before. An example is Naruto. checked a few fights from me, just because they don't post it doesn't mean i never asked. Not all that is done is there to be seen my friend.
