Is storm 4 a preview for boruto manga?

For storm 4 we finally have both boruto and sarada complete moveset including both their indiviual Ultimates and their combo ultimate. If you've seen the boruto movie, you would see that boruto uses a device to use wind, water , and lighting jutsus. However, in the game boruto does not have the device and he only uses wind and water in his combo.

Same for sarada. In the manga and movie, sarada only shows her superhuman strength, ninja tool usage, and her sharingan. However, in the game we see she is capable of using lighting infused tools and superhuman strength and fire jutsu(looks like phoenix fire justu but not sure).

Do ya'll think that kishi is using storm 4 to give us a preview of both boruto and sarada actual moveset or is this just cc2 making them seem more flashy than they are.

p.s. i'm not sure how much involvement kishi had in the game, all I know is that he created shisui and itachi PS.

The Storm games have nothing to do with Canon, unless they are pulling information/move sets from it when it's already established.

In fact Kishimoto spoke about his involvement in the Storm games in his recent Comic Con visit, and he said that he was asked to work on character designs for Itachi/Shisui's PS.

So yeah. That's how "canon" they are.

I'd be really disappointed if they didn't use some of the new moves in canon. Like Boruto's water rasengan and Sarada's CES+Lightning. I don't think Storm 4 is a preview because Kishi isn't even the author anymore. If anything he could give tips on new techniques but I'm guessing it's mainly going to be the new author who will decide stuff like that. I hope he gets inspired from the game and does include them, especially since they are all techniques that Boruto and Sarada have potential for. Some of Sarada's techniques seem to be a given like shuriken justsu which Sarada was already mentioned to be able to do well in the Boruto movie and katon which Sarada can easily learn from Sasuke. So I expect to see those two techniques for sure in the manga.

agreed. I'm hoping that when the boruto manga comes out some of cc2 ideas for the 2 are used, so the changes in the next game are better not worse.

Agreed. The moves cc2 came up with are not to far fetch. With the boruto manga coming out we should see some really nice stuff from the new gen. All the new gen(not just boruto and sarada) have a nice foundation for their techniques. Hopefully we see hybrid techniques from all the new gen.
