Remember the time when Jiraiya trapped one of the peins in Gejutsu while being in Sage mode.......so does that mean a senjutsu genjutsu >>>>> Rinne genjutsu and sharingan genjutsu....to trap a rinnegan user in genjutsu is quite admirable....would the same genjutsu work on MS or not? what about a normal 3t sharingan? Also kabuto tried to do something using one of the sound 4 techniques.....what are your thoughts on this guys.....?
No that genjutsu was not Jiraiya's in the first place but Ma and Pa's jutsu which second time around didn't work again and Pein / Nagato killed Pa before they could release it, So I wouldn't place it that high among genjutsu techs due to the amount of time required to gather the needed NE in order to use it and that the SM users must remain still to gather the NE they need to use the jutsu which makes them open to attack unless defended by other Ninja in that time they need to gather it.

there is nothing impressive about trapping rinnegan users in genjutsu. they are NOT immune or have high resist to genjutsu. there is no manga evidence that supports that claim in any way. when sasuke used his rinnegan against infinite tsukuyomi, he BLOCKED the light out with his susanoo. that's not the same thing as being immune to genjutsu, let alone the fact that infinite tsukuyomi is a rinne-sharingan genjutsu.

Eh, i disagree. just got done re-reading stuff about obito and honestly i think his double mangekyou sharingan is the most op dojutsu. but anyways, despite rinnegan's abilities it still lacks the defaults that sharingan and byakugan posses. example: rinnegan cannot have near 360 field vision on it's own. you will need to summon animal paths or use the asura path face ability to increase field of vision. example2: rinnegan does not posses the ability of perception or resist Visual genjutsu like sharingan (which can be further resisted if you're of the sameblood/like sasuke). it's these exact reasons why kishi decided to give kaguya all 3 abilities. (rinne-sharingan enables both sharingan/rinnegan feats) so honestly, i think people take the whole "rinnegan being the superior dojutsu" too literal. now, rinne-sharingan, makes more sense.

You would have to figuratively speaking give Naruto better understanding of Genjutsu because he is terrible with it and has never been seen either learning it in his life though since we're speaking figuratively then we'd assume he's also well versed in that jutsu and since he's got a unlimited supply of NE then spamming the jutsu whenever needed is figuratively possible.
It's not jiraya genjutsu,it's the frog genjutsu and it's pretty strong considering it's sound genjutsu and may be more efficient than eye genjutsu. Also rinnegan doesn't have genjutsu,it's only sasuke rinnegan that has that ability,because his rinnegan uses his ems abilities.

Rinnegan is more ninjutsu oriented and just because nagato himself sucks against genjutsu doesn't mean an Uchiha with a Rinnegan will have any problem with a sage genjutsu

I know exactly what it said. it said he "the blocked light of infinite tsukuyomi from pierceing through susanoo" <---- not the samething as being immune to genjutsu. which is exactly why sasuke quoted his team not to leave the susanoo otherwise they would get caught into IT.

He only needed Susanoo to block IT from affecting Naruto, Sakura and Kakashi. He said so himself. Susanoo created from his Rinnegan(which is immune) was capable of that. Even BZ says so. It's not Susanoo weilders that are immune.

okay? Doesn't mean he's immune to genjutsu. especially the fact he quotes "my eyes". surely if his rinnegan was responsible for negging IT, he would've just said "my eye".
