[Question] Why is Diamante one of the Top executives if he can't even beat a logia?

Diamante doesn't even have haki to fight the likes of a lower officer like Monet, so why is he up there?
All the other officers can beat Logias, even Trebol's devil fruit make it user for him to evade haki and damage logia users. But Diamante is useless and couldn't even beat Kryos.

So what is the point of this guy?

Considering that he went through rebecca's CoO which is a feat even hakuba couldn't do, I would say he's pretty decent. Plus his ability is hax, he can touch people and flatten them. Doffy also said that he thought law how to use swords, indicating he's a good swordman. His fight with kyros was BS imo.

He was held in high regard by Migo and his influence in the Colosseum gain him high status, along with having a Devil Fruit, to be considered a threat... I guess.

Doflamingo has tendencies of praising his executives to very high regards.
He praised Vergo's haki for being too much for Law and Law ended up beating Vergo without haki.
He praised Diamante for being his right hand man while being his most trust worthy, and now look at him. He was the least trustworthy and he was never Doffy's right hand man to begin with. So those intro's where just hype to get the viewers going.

So is being there for the beginning the only reason why Diamante is one of the top executives? And please don't say some dumb trolllish answer like he bested Rebecca's CoO or something like that. I'm starting to think that these top executives are really no different from the rest of the executives in terms of power.

He could be or he could be not, I'm not entirely sure but Doflamingo gravely underestimated the rookies. They're way too much to handle.
