Was there another way for Minato and Kushina to be alive?

One question, could Minato seperated half of Kyuubi into Naruto without using RDS, while Kushina dragged the other half of Kyuubi inside her?

He could seal half of the kyuubi in kushina, this would be enough to heal her but not enough to kill her from the strain. This way naruto would have a mother.

I don't know of a way to save both.

Nah Minato couldn't suvive no matter he would seal 100% or 50% Kyuubi in himself..... RDS would take his soul no matter what.... the time when u use RDS u are already dead/sealed.

He used RDS to separate the kyuubi into two parts, he wouldn't need it if he was sealing 100%.

Kishi contradicted himself so many times, that's why the War Arc was so ****ed up plus being an orphan who is hated by everyone was part of Naruto's character development.
The whole thing is called plot, you have to deal with it.

Read again, I was talking about Kushina after she got Kyuubi released from her, however if that's so, she could have sealed Kyuubi inside her again, then she wouldn't needed to die.

Just check the chapter where they were trying to save naruto by transferring kurama into him.

Minato knows how to seal bijuu without RDS, remember he knew several uzumaki seals. He only used RDS to divide the kyuubi

Wrong, during Minato and Kushina died back then, he used Eight Trigrams to seal the other half of Kyuubi inside Naruto, while the other half got sealed inside him by the help of RDS.

If you are talking about the seal he was trying to place inside Naruto was another one, and that seal was like a chakra transfer. I know it sounds crazy, but it is like when you transfer your chakra to another person. It is just like he uses FTG on a person by contact without telepprting himself except of that person who gets teleported.
