They're a little annoying but that's about it.

I saw a video of a woman complaining about air conditioners being sexist because women get colder and warmer faster... Those cases are what I call annoying.

lol?

This world is male dominated and imo a lot of males like to complain about feminism because it defies their sexist upbringing. I see a lot of men complaining about feminism and how women aren't staying at home enough to raise the children. Are men incapable of taking care of child lol? Is a woman only capable of cooking and maintaing the household?

All talk and no action.

I'd gladly stay home with my child and cook dinner and clean the house over going to work anyday. If I could be a house-husband, I totally would jump at the offer.

The problem is, no matter how much feminists like to talk about how it's unfair and it's oppressive, as soon as you ask them for real, they will always choose to be the one to stay home. Ironic right?

Stop generalizing a hypocritical mindset to everyone who identifies as a feminist into one group. I don't know what you are talking about. I met plenty of women who wouldn't care if their husbands stay at home.

The problem is ignorance that is drilled into people heads since childhood. You do realize feminism stands for the equality among the sexes? Lol has nothing to do with women above men which people just love to shout

Well I've mentioned that last part in my original comment within the thread. I do believe feminism is equality among sexes, but unfortunately they're an unspoken minority against the "new wave feminists" which preach bigotry.

But if we're talking about reality, studies have shown that a vast majority of women, given the choice, would rather stay home with the child and parent them than having their husband do it and going to work. So I'm not generalizing.

My opinion is that calling yourself feminist is unnecesarry.

To be a feminist means to fight for equal right for both men and women. This is a characteristic that should be a default for anyone. You do not need to state explicitly that you're a feminist. It's a given, just how you don't have to call yourself a non-racist for promoting equal rights for all races. The racists are the ones who need to be labeled. Same thing applies for schovinists.

You fight for a noble goal, not for superiority of one over another. You're the default. So you don't need a label. Labels are needed, but not for the good and noble but for the wicked and cruel. u.u

The only reason I would ever marry a woman is to have children and if so I expect the mother to do her job raising it, not drop it off at a day care. We don't need extra income from her, I'll provide plenty and I have no problem with her working if she wants to aslong as she's not a mom. If she can't trust me to do my part to help the family then I don't want her, it's that simple.

anyone that uses and has common sense supports equal rights for both genders, and in fact, don't make it a gender-specific issue to begin with

How does it feel to live in the middle age?

the whole 'sexist' thing is just some arbitrary political line that people draw on the ground. It's ever changing with circumstances and public opinion. What people need to do is just value each other as much as they value themselves. The whole sexism thing is about people being unequally valued, if everyone valued each other equally the heart of the problem is gone, all that's left would be the differences in which people evaluate certain actions or gestures which won't really upset people if the heart is in the right place.

Pathetic attempts to get me to conform to your worldview won't work.
Having a different opinion than what is popular isn't wrong to have. I don't want my kids to be raised by the government. I expect the mother to do her part just as I'm expected to do mine in raising them.

What if her job gets more income? Would you be willing to be a stay at home dad?

First off that's impossible because no job can give her greater income than me. Second, I'm not willing to compromise, this stuff is non-negotiable and she would be aware before we ever had a family together.

1. And why exactly is that impossible?
2. Don't you think it would be better for your family if the one with the greater income stayed at their job while the other raised the children (just going by your example, I don't actually believe that one of the parents must stay at home with the kids). Or are you just a sexist that believes that the woman must stay at home no matter what?

Look, all I'm saying is I, personally want a housewife if I'm to get married. It doesn't mean I'm forcing her and there is nothing sexist about it. If she's not that type of woman, great. Go find yourself a guy who is willing to make it 50/50 or be a stay at home dad or whatever.
