He shouldn't be, his power is just "Being Big". If being big was all you needed to fight against the Gotei 13, then Choe Neng Poe would have been Espada -1.

I could accept if Pernida or f*cking Lille was winning this, because they actually have cool powers. Someone like Gerard should be easy pickings for being nothing but a mass of physical power. Hell, Yammy was bigger than him but still got ofpanneled by Kenpachi and Byakuya.


Hanataro better have a Kickass Bankai to deal with him.

This is what people dont get, he isnt just big like yammy, he was an elite before he got big. Being big isnt just what makes him elite. I ts like zaraki being big but still being zaraki

Imo it's BS, Shinji's shikai is enough to make this battle a breeze

I don't think it just his size. His body seems to be impervious as well. Everyone threw their Shikai at him at one time (in vizard form no less) and he didn't even have a scratch and tossed them away like rag dolls. I think they just don't have enough stopping power. At least not a the moment.

I see what you are saying though. But keep in mind he is a Quincy Elite and he is a body part of the spirit King. You know how strong those body parts are.

It seems that the Miracle grants Gerard a massive boost in strength, speed, durability, and reiatsu if he received grievously fatal wounds. He's simply much too powerful for those who have attacked him to handle with just Shikai.

Anyway, assuming he doesn't have Vollstandig, he should be doing this well as an Elite.

His power isn't just to get big. He took ALL the damage he received from renji, byakuya etc and turned it into more power for himself and increased his size. And yammy didnt.get that big. This guy is literally towering over buildings!! He's like a saiyin that you just beat half to death, got healed and came back but ****ing ridiculously big
