Good points but frog song 2 stronk imo. Solo'd a rinnegan user and raikage doesn't have any genjutsu resistance feats to my knowledge.

Yep, you're right. He is one of the legendary Sannin, but it doesn't change the fact that he has to rely on help from the frogs (Ma, Pa, the summonings) to be very efficient. If you reduce him to Jiraya alone, without any help, then he is very weak compared to Kage-level ninja (including Akatsukis).

And I already mentioned that "frog song" is his only really promising technique to beat Ay.

He's a sage. Using his sage powers don't make him weak. He's efficient w/o Ma & Pa. SM just boost his ninjutsu etc. E.g to make senjutsu enhanced odama rasengan which is apparently a mountain buster :sdo:

Only way jiraiya could stand a chance is if the starting distance is over 50m and he starts in SM

probably Ay. he can dodge all of jiriayas attacks and end him with a thrust. although he would have to get around frog song

If they both start with full power Jiraiya wins. If they both start in base, its 50-50 chance for either to win. So overall, Jiraiya has the edge.

lol it takes away couple of secs at most to go v1 or v2 while jiriaya needs a whole lot more to enter sm. if both start in base, Ay molests him terribly

But it's so far fetched I might as well just say Ay wins and leave it at that.
