According to the anime, Pain will confront Minato and Tsunade for revenge. This takes place during this new filler, however this fight will not be aired until February. Before we might see the fight, please vote and give us your reason about who wins.

Location: Konoha (destroyed)

Distance: 100m

Restrictions: Edo Tensei, Rinne Tensei and Kurama.

Conditions: Both of them are healthy and full powered.

- Minato starts with Toads and with SM, but he can only stay in 1-2 minutes.
- Pain has six paths

Knowledge: Pain does not know about Minato's Sage Mode and sealing jutsus. Minato has none intel, except that he knows Six Paths of Pain shares visions, that's all.

Battle intent: Win

Remember, NO fanboying or hate.

But..will that really happen? if this is Nagato with his Six Paths, he demolishhes. if it's just Six Paths, Minato can win but extremely difficult

Pain likely wins. Shared Vision is a solid counter to Minato's Hiraishin and I can't see his speed being high enough to blitz him without Hiraishin's advantages when Pain could react to SM Jiraiya's and SM Naruto's speed.

Edit: Oh shit, this is SM Minato with Ma and Pa?

Then Minato might have a shot ...

In the same condition as SM Naruto vs Pain? There's no way that Minato would lose.

Pain will fight Minato and Tsunade in the anime? This is actually a filler that will be interesting.

Minato is fast enough to teleport the user away before CST starts to blow.

Lol no he isnt.
he wont even know when or where its coming from, given the force has no shape or form.
so CST blows, and minato gets turned to paste

He can put a clone in front of himself so when the clone is thrown backwards he knows he has 0.0001 seconds to teleport before it hits him too. Besides, ST doesnt do much damage until the user hits the ground (even if its from a massive scale ST) so Minato can teleport before he hits the ground and tank whatever damage he gets when the force actually hits him given that he has SM

It all depends on the mindset. If the mindset is not in character and the intent is to win or kill, then Deva blasts them with CST at the earliest point of the battle. If the mindset is IC; as it would naturally be in the anime:

1) Since knowledge of his opponents is more or less non existent on Pain's behalf then Nagato being a competent fighter would rather to understand his opponents abilities before expending Chakra on high level techniques and that being the case it's very possible for Minato to strategically win within that time.

2) If Nagato already has sight on FTG's inner workings and his intent is to win or kill his opponents, then I see him trying to develop a strategy to counter FTG as opposed to firing large range techniques and he'll fail because there's no strategy Nagato can develop that Minato shouldn't be able counter.

Pein can use it in the direction that supports the pull of gravity

minato isnt putting a clone in front of him before the jutsu activates, nor is that clone providing any real defense to stop the momentum of a village busting force. and teleporting to another location doesnt just negate any prior momentum or the affects of gravity

if a force that strong is being used he is crashing down on the ground before he can even act sinnce he cant even anticipate it.
he gets pasted then.

Yes, according to 4th february, the fight starts after the battle with Naruto and Sasuke. Don't get me wrong, we just have to wait and see, since I've heard the filler won't end until may or something.

Who do you think will win, and give me your reason.

Yes he knows, why? That's because CST is not instant, while the other paths cannot fight while giving chakra to Deva...
If Tsunade was able to see what was going to happen, then there is no way for Konoha to get destroyed when Minato was there. Minato is a sensory type and adding Sage mode make his attack and speed faster, even though he does not need it anyway, because FTG is instant and he can teleport Deva Path away somwewhere safe from Konoha.

+ Deva cannot use any jutsus when loading CST, and that's when Minato can strike back.

Now, give me an answer how Deva avoids FTG while preparing his CST?

In an out-of-plot battle Pain would win. But since we know who the anime-makers prefer, Minato would even end to stomp him

Minato SM with Ma & Pa? Almost useless....or not in his arsenal-his Sage Mode sucks.

Ma & Pa are insanely powerful ninjas in their own right, unfair addition.

Can't Minato use Natural Energy to amplify the speed and consistency of his Hiraishin?

Pain has to deactivate the other 5 paths in order to use CST which takes a few seconds so yes Minato definitely has time to put a clone in front of himself which gives him prior warning to CST when he sees the clone thrown back. It's not supposed to provide any defense. You're right about the bold, it's just Minato can teleport before the force even hits him
