I'm trying to keep an open mind to this.
Most of Namis worthwhile attacks take prep time and she's most active when the whole crew is fighting and she's behind the scenes creating a storm. That's almost excusable but still, those were just nobodys with guns.
But the one I'm most disappointed with is Chopper. I mean Kun fu point much? Monster point muh? You didn't think to take cover under the ground?
And Brooke. Whether or not he's the fastest in the crew is debatable, but he's still most known for his blitz attacks. There is no doubt in my mind that he could have hit them all like lightning, you can't tell me they would have all reacted to him.
I see people getting on Sanji the most, but if anything he had the most excuse to not act. You can't expect him to throw down for everybody, they should be capable of defending themselves. He was in the center of all of them and his comrades were at gun point. It's not that he couldn't have beat them, but he didn't want to risk his crew.
So whats up with that, why couldn't they defend themselves?
I have a feeling that if Luffy or Zoro were there everybody would have acted different. He would have given them all a look and a smirk or something and they would have all would have attacked somebody at the same time. I get that we had to progress to the wedding thing but come on man, the rush was too obvious.
