Well then lol if Gai went 7 Gates, I am pretty sure he can take out the Animal Path and that Ninjutsu Absorption Path with either EE or Hirudora. If its the 8th gate Deva Path is also gone. Team Youth could have finished Pain quicker than SM Naruto.

As above stated. No counters to hirudora etc. Even TenTen is a massive help as there's no particular path to deal with giant weapons + barrages. Not to mention shinra tensei is offline for a couple of minutes. Neji is pretty useless unless he air palms and can do giant gentle fist jabs on cerberus. Otherwise he's protecting TenTen.

7 gates gai would easily speed blitz naraka path so none of the bodies can be revived anymore, hirudora oneshots preta path. Only deva can be problem but rest of them can deal with him while Gai speed blitzes rest paths.

Well maybe it depends.
If Deva Path is active which means pre-Kohona destruction then Pein would probably attack the situation differently, dont forget that Lee and Gai while gaining incredible speed and strength may actually cause more harm to them selves than good once entering the 8 gates, their body become brittle and they take massive recoil damage with almost every hit, so just punching and having that punch reflected by Deva path probably would damage them significantly. Neji is a better strategist than Naruto so he would pobably coordinate a great plan of action, but the power houses could be in trouble regardless.
If its post-Kohona desturction then Team Gai literally wins in a instant. I highly doubt any of the bodys could react fast enough to stop gai from wrecking Deva path in 1 punch. The way i see it is Kohona gets crushed and immediately afterwords Guy goes 7th gate and blitz deva path and lee blitz the rest. Naruto shows up after Sakura screams and makes it an Auto-solo so they must win before Naruto comes back. Bad thing about this situation is that all the dead people stay dead. Also means that if Nagato doesnt die and Kabuto revives Madara that Madara starts the war with 2 renn and that means game over for the NA.
