I was reading this article about the sailors that were detained for floating into Iranian waters when I started reading some comments on it on another site. The crucifixion of Obama has begun and it's absolutely brilliant.
- People are calling Obama weak because Iran barely held the sailors for 1 day.
Obviously, everyone knows a real leader would have gone to war right then and there.
- People are calling Obama weak because the Iranians made the female sailor cover her hair with a scarf while 'detained'.
One notable comment was, "If Iran can force an American woman to put on a head scarf why can't America force Muslim women to take these ridiculous things off their heads when they enter our country? Our message to immigrants should be, you come here, you act and wear clothing like Americans; otherwise, stay where you are or go where you blend in with your own kind. You will never be accepted by the majority of Americans until you are willing to be an American in style and tradition."
This shit is comedy gold and I can't make it up.
- People are saying Obama ruined the country and this incident is proof.
Natural. He's a Muslim and will take over the US with his Muslim army in the next 11 months.
- People are saying Obama is weak because the sailors were forced to get on their knees and put their hands behind their heads. Thus leading to the only obvious conclusion; Obama sabotaged the boats himself!
This particular situation is absolutely hilarious because people expected the 10 sailors to actually fight back with one boat out of commission. They actually expected these 10 sailors to throw down their lives over some petty shit like floating into Iranian waters and being 'detained' for one day. They expected Obama to start a war with Iran over this petty ass incident simply because of their false sense of 'pride'. They're actually blaming Obama that the commander of the two ships apologized for accidentally being in Iranian waters.
Maybe I'm alone on this, but I find this to be absolutely hilarious and frightening at the same time. There are people in the US who actually have these thoughts and think like this.
