So Scott Buck has been announced as show runner for the project, for those unfamiliar he worked on Dexter. This leads me to wonder, will Michael C. Hall get to play Rand? As long as they got an actor trained in martial arts to do the fight scenes(which would be easy enough with him wearing a mask and all) I'd be for it, I think he could work. Thoughts?

And for the record before it starts, no, Danny Rand should not be played by an Asian actor, you're wrong. Casting an Asian actor because it's a martial arts role and Asians are good at martial arts movies is just as(or more really) "racist" as the lack of diversity that came about from the 70's. Overlooked stereotypes aside Danny Rand is an outsider at sight, the land of K'un Lun already looks "Asian" so sending an outsider who looks like he belongs defeats the whole purpose in the first place. Have an Asian actor play Shang Chi or Steel Serpent or Amadeus Cho but for God's sake leave your fake inclusionist bullshit at home, nobody's buying it anymore when you say things like "We want diversity and equal representation ooh I know let's make the kung fu guy Asian"

Thank god it is happening. Really want to learn more about IF and the show is the best way.

I'd love Michael C. Hall. Doubt it'll be him, but I love him.
If you ever have the time and feel like it you should check out Matt Fraction's Iron Fist run it was good. Hall may not be as far from this as you might expect, Buck worked with him on Dexter and Six Feet Under.
