Natsu is a lean, well-built young man of average height with light tan skin, black eyes, and spiky rose-colored hair. He always wears a scarf that is detailed with white scales, given to Natsu by his adoptive father, Igneel. Natsu has a scar on the right side of his neck that is visible in the few instances he does not wear his scarf. His red Fairy Tail member's stamp is located at the top of his right arm, just below his shoulder.
Natsu's outfit mainly consists of a black waistcoat with gold trimmings over his chest with no shirt underneath, short white trousers that go down to his knees, and a wide black wristband on his left wrist and sandals along with his scarf. He has also been known to wear a rolled up comforter strapped across his back, though he rarely carries it in battle. Since having traveled on his own he always wears a black cloak to cover his appearance.

Natsu is a carefree and reckless in nature and, despite his constant brawls with the other members of the guild, is a fiercely loyal and protective friend. He thinks things through in a straightforward manner that usually involves taking things "head on". Even when faced with obvious hostility or previous grudges, he rarely holds a grudge or negative feelings towards an enemy, usually seeing the good in them.
Natsu constantly tries to prove his strength to others. He has challenged all of Fairy Tails current s class ninja to fight him in the past, and has beaten them every single time. However, he holds no grudge against any them as he considers any member of his guild to be his friend, even in Wesobi's case when he threatens the lives of his own guild mates. Due to his reckless nature, any fight Natsu involves himself in usually ends with widespread destruction. His continuous desire to fight causes Natsu to develop great wit in battle, quickly identifying his opponent's weaknesses and forming strategies to block the plans of his enemies. At times, he even defeats enemies with just his wit and trickery without throwing a punch. Natsu also seems to be very stubborn, hardly ever admitting defeat.
Despite being quite dense Natsu has shown to be somewhat perceptive, especially when it comes to his friends and their feelings. Natsu has come to learn and understand true fear, and has already used it to help himself (and those around him) to grow.

History: Natsu doesn't remember where exactly he was born or who his human parents were, the only thing he remembers of his childhood was being found by a Dragon known as Igneel. Igneel was the strongest Fire based Dragon the world had ever known of, Igneel taught Natsu everything from walking, to reading and writing. But then mysteriously one day Igneel vanished without a trace leaving Natsu completely alone and from that day onwards Natsu set out to try and find Igneel and reunite with him at any cost. After the devastating vanishing of Igneel Natsu felt a strange power in his eyes, he seemed to awaken a rare power he later came to know as the Sharingan, although this was only the first stage of the Sharingan Natsu planned on honing his skills with it in order to help him find Igneel.
After surviving out in the Ninja World by himself for many years Natsu somehow found himself at the gates of the Hidden Leaf Village. Eager to find out things about the village Natsu walked around asking random villagers random things about the village, until one man known as The Pervy Sage asked Natsu if he wished to join the village and be apart of it, intrigued Natsu followed the man to the Hokage Palace, where he met one of the higher ups in the village Castiel (Nathan ofc), the village was apparently having a problem with one of their own members trying to take over the village by force and Natsu offered his services, time had passed and the threat disappeared and Natsu was offered and accepted to join Konoha.
The Chuunin Exams
The time had come for Natsu to partake in a very special event. The Chuunin Exams. Of course Natsu wouldn't turn down a fun challenge and decided to partake in the Chuunin Exams to see what his other villagers were made of and also to have some fun. A few days passed after the announcement of the Chuunin Exams and it was time for Round 1, Natsu was paired against Jakai Uchiha. The two faced each other off in a epic battle but Natsu came out victorious in the end. Fired up he was eager to keep fighting but sadly only one fight a day. Day 2 of the Chuunin Exams and Natsu was faced against one of the strongest people in the village Castiel of the Dark Release. The two engaged in an epic fight with Castiel clearly holding back, he didn't seem like the type of guy that would go all out right from the very start, with Castiel very easily countering each of Natsu's moves thanks to his Dark Release being able to absorb Natsu's fire but none the less Natsu pushed onwards and eventually was declared the winner of the fight. He still hadn't pushed Castiel to his limits and was disappointed but glad nonetheless that he had such a fun fight. Day 3 of the Chuunin exams was about get underway, he went to go visit his friend Aizen that was spectating the Chuunin Exams from the spectator stands, Aizen shared information on Natsu's next opponent Obito Uchiha (Priest), Natsu saw the damage he had done to Aizen and was pissed off, the things he did to him weren't very Villager like at all he intended to kill Aizen several times but lucky Aizen was smart and got through the round alive although he was given a loss. It came time for Natsu to face Obito and the two clashed with each other attack after attack with neither side planning on giving up, the two fought for what seemed like years until it was decided that it would be a double knock out. Natsu wasn't upset that he was kicked out, he was just glad he was able to fight such strong opponents. He wouldn't soon forget the memories of the Chuunin Exams.

Fire and Lightning: Natsu has gained such great confidence and mastery with the Fire element that he can perform all Fire techniques with only a single hand seal and with great speed. Due to his high affinity towards the Lightning release techniques, Natsu will be able to do all the fire techniques at a faster hand seal rate when compared to other shinobi.
Taijutsu: Natsu during his time with Igneel was taught greatly in his martial art skills, although Igneel was a dragon that did not stop him from learning much about Taijutsu during their time together, even without Igneel Natsu practiced thoroughly and has found Taijutsu to be a large specialty of his and believes himself to be a Taijutsu Specialist.
Essentials: Natsu carries the essential and basic ninja tools. These range from kunais, shuriken, explosion tags, flashes, rope, smoke bombs, fuma shuriken etc and even his Murcielago, which is strapped to the left side of his leg.
The Leaf's Heritage: Natsu also holds close to him the will of fire. Which is a belief that shows love and when things turn grim, a Konoha ninja can overcome it. This is what the The Will of Fire is, and what it means to Natsu as well.

Description: More than a technique, ability or skill, the Will of Fire and the Will of Darkness are, instead, teachings and philosophical beliefs that induce specific ways of teaching and acting towards the protection of the Village.
- The Will of Fire is an idea taught to and carried by all members of Konoha. It is the belief that only through love, understanding and decisive action can true peace be acquired, though never by attacking others and rather by protecting something the individual holds dear. The belief is a spiritual heritage that was created by Hashirama Senju and passed down to all the villagers and shinobi of Konoha. Shinobi who carry this belief love the village with all their heart and will fight to protect it even against the most significant odds. It gives them the strength to keep going even when the situation looks grim. When defending the village the Will of Fire gives the shinobi of Konoha the extra strength needed to defeat the invading forces and the will power to continue the battle after receiving damage, ensuring the Will of Fire is never extinguished.
- Can only be used by members of Konohagakure who embody the Will of Fire.
- Only usable when defending the village from external threats.
- Normal members receive a +10 damage boost as well as a strength and speed boost equivalent to one rank (based on the NB ranking system). So for example a Jounin would gain the strength/speed of an S-Class Ninja, a S-Class Ninja would gain the strength/speed of a Sannin).
- Normal members can continue after being hit by one B-rank or below attack but lose the bonus damage, speed and strength.
- The Hokage and Village Officers receive a +15 damage bonus and strength and speed increased by one rank.
- The Hokage and Village Officers can continue after being hit by one A-rank or below attack, but lose the bonus damage, speed and strength.
- If the villager is fighting inside the village walls (Inner Village and Hokage Mansion) he gains access to an additional 10% chakra points.
- A member of Konoha must make a notice in their biography's history as to which Will the character has inherited. This must be the same for both biographies.
- The antithesis to the Will of Fire, the Will of Darkness is a school of thought that was developed by Shimura Danzo during the reign of Hiruzen Sarutobi and taught to the members of the Root (Ne). He instilled this will within members of his Root organization so that they would be able to carry out their missions successfully and without failure. The Will of Darkness holds the belief that one must protect what he loves by aggressive action and the destruction of all potential threats, no matter the moral cost or context. Where the Will of Fire is based on the defense of the village, the Will of Darkness is based on the attack of its enemies. After his death and the dissolution of Root, his will spread into other Konoha shinobi as former root members began to integrate themselves back into normal village organizations. People who have committed themselves to this school of thought understand the need to eliminate threats and do things that may be considered amoral for the greater good. As a result they battle without hesitation and with a greater ferocity when committing acts of aggression than those who adhere to the Will of Fire.
