Yeah, you should give it a read if you're new to NB. It explains a lot, like the way battle's are structured here, to other things like explaining the Training system and so on. I know it looks like a lot, but once you give it a good read, you'll get a feel for how NB RP works. And yeah, 1500 posts is a lot. Took me a few months to get that many posts without using the Forum Games section.

Well, when you put it like that it makes me look stupid

I was referring to the link Imperfect posted for me, which led me to the Hitch Hiker's Guide to Role Play. It had broke down NB RP into a lot of smaller aspects that required lot's of time and commitment to complete. As someone whose been role playing Naruto for 6 years, i'm easily up for rank A and/or S, but since my account is only Chuunin, i'll have to wait for my post count to increase to be able to create more higher ranked customs and more complex characters. You have to get approval for a jutsu, then having training for the general area that the jutsu is in. And not only that, but their so many rules I have to learn to remember and apply to these jutsu's. It will easily take me up to a month to get my account at the level in which I can most BIO's for my previously made characters who are mostly A and S rank.

I'm not saying it takes forever, but it certainly doesn't take 5 minutes.

We have to take into consideration that i'm new here, so what may seem normal or easy for you is a tad difficult and alien to me.

It isn't that much of difficult, believe me. The jutsus that you are talking about are custom jutsus, but believe me cannon arsenal of this forum is enough to counter 70% of stuff, if not more than that. Also there is a section called as FG where you can just go and spam and increase your post count without much of an effort. It will hardly take 2-3 days, if you stay enough active to reach that post count.

Please stay. Take your time, slowly get to know people and the RP. It's worth the fun. I know its quite the work, but do it for the fun!! Ask people, ask me! I can help you set you on your path!

You know it took me three years to get to sage rank and I ain't even done with my training. Just focus on learning as much as you can from training while you have it so that when you master it you can do better than those who just breezed through it. It's a looooong road to get to Sage rank but if you work at it by posting in Konnichiwa section, FG section, RP section, and wherever else that is relevant to you, you can do it. Besides getting there the fast way doesn't give you much of an advantage if you still have to wait during your training process to go through the ginormous jutsu list.

One thing I recommend though is to do FG section with a friend or two. Set up a time and date and get to it. If you work hard at it you should get to where you want to be.
