Just remembered Sanji lost his first real fight aswell, didn t just suck post-timeskip. However, Gin is dead, he had been poisoned by the gas and was going to die after leaving Baratie with his crew so if we ever see the Don Krieg pirates again it won't be with Gin anymore.

Why does everyone think croc would be a good opponent for luffy. Luffy defeated him once and stopped him at MF after the time skip haki training croc stands no chance haki and all but his suburbanites would be op as **** the booger boom guy can't remember his fruit name the kilo kilo fruit would be good with haki the only way I see crocky getting the upper hand is if he had his other hand no pun intended but if one hand takes moisture what other sand based power did he have

Logically how does he stand a chance? Luffy figured out his weakness, Luffy was strong enough to beat him part 1, Luffy learned Haki from one of the best(presumably since he was a high up on Rogers ship) Even if they both increased, the level Croc would have to increase to surpass those disadvantages is too much when considering Luffy's growth rate.

Logically how does he stand a chance? 2/3 of the fight was in his favor but besides the point, he was exploited of his weakness. Haki isn't his weakness because that doesn't deter him from using his devil fruit powers but being drenched in water completely strips him of his powers as well as touch his main body. Just look at what happened to Crocodile when he fought someone besides the main character. He did well against Jozu, clashed with Doflamingo, and speared Akainu.

Haki isn't his weakness because that doesn't deter him from using his devil fruit powers but being drenched in water completely strips him of his powers as well as touch his main body. Just look at what happened to Crocodile when he fought someone besides the main character. He did well against Jozu, clashed with Doflamingo, and speared Akainu.

I'm not arguing he had good presentations but logically there's no reasoning for him being able to beat Luffy now. Luffy was inexperienced then, now since Ennies Lobby and MF he's more cautious about his fights(not very cautious mind you but more so then at Alabasta) so the odds he'd slip up like in Alabasta is small. I'm all for the not downplaying Croc because of his part1 defeat but to jump him to current Luffy level doesn't sit right either.

Mihawk simply showed up, wrecked their ship, fought Zoro and left. He didn't kill his men, injure him or anything. Also Don Krieg wasn't in the slightest bit hurt before he fought Luffy who whooped his ass. You need to watch that fight again because there was no assistance on either guys side. If anything, Mihawk helped Don Krieg by taking Zoro out of the picture.

It was never confirmed that he died and he also said that he'd see them in the grandline so that could be oda foreshadowing a return of ghin lol ghin as the next SH fleet member

I'm thinking that he'll be involved in a team up when he re-appears. And I'm sure that if Crocodile would fight any opponent cautiously like he did in the marineford war.

Physically he was strong enough to lift a small attack shit with only one hand and throw it a fair distance but due to relying on his weapons he had not taken any blows so he would be easily KO'd by another physically strong opponent

True but after he got up they had another scuffle and ghin got the better don't kno the scan was literally just watching the episode though sanji lost hands down and he couldn't kill him because he fed them and he ask don to let them have a pass then krieg loaded MH5 poison and so on
