The worst threat to the stability of everything we know comes from inside our own walls. Congress, parliament...they can elect anybody to run actual countries as long as we don't go....there.

As long as pop culture and reality TV doesn't infect important institutions such as activism, law and politics as it already is with Trump, Kanye West, Schwarzenegger, Ben Affleck, The Rock & Judge Rinder....Celebrities already have such powerful influence in the world today and now that the worth of the word 'celeb' is being made less and less meaningful to the absolute bottom of the barrel (aka Kardashian Culture) every day....This isn't as such a playful joke as you may think. It's scary and damaging.

It's making light of actual real world issues like congress, parliament and the court. And as the generations pass and we all laugh along- they start becoming normalised.

No. I refuse to live in a Black Mirror / Twilight Zone dystopia

And it's our fault for making such deluded people so successful and arrogant. Kanye held a University talk in my country last year, DJ Khaled rides his jetski and drinks his water everyday genuinely believing he is a prophet unaware people are laughing at him, joking to follow his 'teachings' bless up they dont want you to ride jetskis These kind of people are lost in their own ego and delusion and have the power to actually put it into effect. Be scared of the media guys, that's all I ask. In the UK it's lesser thankfully but the USA elections are coming up and you have it worse. Stay wary.

I'd prefer Kanye to Hillary or Trump tbh.

Because I presume that they have at the absolute least some understanding of how politics works or at the very least isn't a deluded egotist lost in their own world like DJ Khaled or Kanye West.

I read this on my phone in class and I didn't feel like logging in because this site isn't mobile friendly. But the entire time I was thinking, "This guy is an extremist", "This guy is an idiot" to be honest. A lot of your views are horribly warped or nonfactual.

Ouch. How so?

Please, by all means teach me how Kanye West is better suited to run the country than people who have studied and devoted their lives to politics, corrupt or not.

People normalising ridiculous things because they're funny is not a new thing. That's how people like Khaled got his arrogance & fortune today. But yes please, tell me how i'm an idiot extremist for caring about the everyday person who doesn't think they are God.

Go back to class.

I think they're just more silent about how selfish they are.

Being selfish is one thing. The activities and mindsets of self-proclaimed God, 'greatest rockstar in the world' Kanye and 'the best alive' Khaled are another.

People like that broadcast everyday how alien & deluded they really are. And I don't use the word 'deluded' to say I don't agree with them like I would a politician...but the actual definition of the word. Deluded in a world of their own.

I never considered Kanye to actually win, but holy shit, you might be right. I still don't think the world is any sadder if they do. We're as sad as it can get.

Won't be taken seriously.

If it were, I'm sure someone would "deal" with it anyway.

Over time though, it'll be normalised. That's how all this sh*t started. Reality TV or what passes as celebrity culture wouldn't have slided 20-30 years ago.

The fact you believe the president actually runs the country or these people will have any chance to win is cute.
