Alright, so there seems to be a controversial topic Naruto fans, and that is Did humans have chakra prior to Kaguya's appearance, or was it after Hagoromo apparently spread it worldwide?

This came to light when I was on Facebook, and somebody said Infinite Tsukuyomi affects even those without chakra (trying to explain why Kaguya and Madara can take on the dbzverse).
What are your thoughts on this matter? Did humans have chakra before Kaguya or not? Please have a civilized debate

Kaguya got it from the tree. The tree drew streingth from nature & the dead.
Chakra was probably extreemely low-level iin humans as things such as stamina & life force to stay alive. Remember, Chakra can be drawn from stamina & taking too much kills you.

So MAYBE. This is just a guess/hypothesis.

The goddamn author wrote Kaguya was the first to wield chakra. Her two sons (I assume they're twins) were the first to be born with it. So there's your answer, no humans did not wield chakra before Kaguya.

This^^ and theres a diff between having just enough natural chakra to sustain life vs having enough to wield as a weapon. In my op.

Sons were born with chakra
At some point kaguya casted IT
Sons fought kaguya and sealed her
Hago sealed juubi into himself
Hamura went to guard the juubi husk on the moon, taking some of the okutsuki with him.
Hago spread chakra to the world, resulting in physical energy (stamina, something people/wild life has) and spiritual energy (something those lacked I guess) being fused into chakra.

Humans didn't have Chakra before Kaguya.

But, it was implied that they had the base components of Chakra...Spiritual and Physical energy.

Maybe humans weren't able to utilize chakra. Or didn't have enough to do anything with it.

It's fact that once Kaguya ate the fruit her children had chakra. This chakra could have spread in various ways. We saw how large the Uchiha and Senju Clan were. But I doubt the entire worlds population came from Hashirama and Hamura's children.

Kaguya cast infinite tsukuyomi and everyone was turned into Zetsus. (This actually happened) And only a few people survived. Hamura and Hiroshima mated with the remaining females.

2) Chakra somehow spread through the Earth to everyone

And of course, plot.


Because everyone was put in infinite tsukuyomi. Now how did everyone get chakra? We don't know. Maybe they all turned into white zetsus and hiroshimi and hamura mated with people they could save.

But if Hagoromo and Hamura mated with the few remaining females, what makes Uchiha/Senju/Hyuga/etc so different from the rest if technically, everybody descended from Hagoromo and Hamura? Unless they mated and then the few remaining males mated with the females after Hagoromo and Hamura tapped it already

The way kaguya used it was somewhat similar to Madara's because when Obito was casting the genjustu, the god tree was still feeding off people's life energy. So what I'm saying is that once the roots started to feed off on the people, they fell into the genjustu.
