Shinki, at the age of about 12 possesses Iron Sand and Puppet Mastery. This would make him Have the potential to surpass even Jinchuriki Gaara, without fail. He can control Iron Sand, the most lethal of the three forms of Sand (Fourth Kazekage was still reported to be weaker than the Third), and he possess Puppet Mastery, giving him access to almost any ability.

As of Now, I would say that in terms of what we have been clearly shown, other Than Bolt and Sarada, potential would go:

1.Shinki
2. Yurui
3.Shin
Interesting Enough, no Shins have been seen since Gaiden. If they were educated in actual ninjutsu, they'd be beasts.

Bolt would still top him, it's all about genetics.

1. Puppet mastery is subjective.
2. I doubt he can make human puppets, so no, he can't have any ability.
3. Have we even seen him use more than 1 puppet at a time? Talk to me when he uses 10 at once.

I see what you mean about his potential but unfortunately the series has never worked that way. In Part I we saw characters who should have grown up to stomp Naruto and Sasuke but because of main characters getting priority that'll never happen.

Human Puppetry isn't portrayed as difficult, just immoral

The term puppet mastery was used to say he is proficient in the use of puppets

Even without it, he still has Iron Sand, a whole realm of defense.

He is easily stronger than chuunin exams Kankuro. Probably Gaara too.

You know that Sasori was the only one to develop human puppetry, right? No one else knows how.

I don't really understand the whole metallic sand KKG. Is it genetic? Or do some Sunagakure shinobi just have the talent? It was said that the 2nd Kazekage (or whoever) learned to manipulate metal (or gold was it?) through watching Shukkaku. Gaara received the power to manipulate sand after becoming Shukkaku's Jinchuriki, and it's unclear how Sasori learned it. Now there is Shinki.

Yurui was stated to be Kumogakure's only Elite Shinobi, or just an Elite. He's basically the Bolt/Sarada of the Kumo team, the rest of his team members were apparently just regular members.

I don't know why Shin is there because he negs every next generation member. Especially if we are talking about the one who fought against Sasuke, Sarada/Chou Chou, and Naruto. His potential is fabricated tbh, I doubt they would even allow him to take part of the Exam, much less be a shinobi.

But if Orochimaru can have kids ... then who knows :lol

Kishi stopped caring about explanations or logic when it comes to a lot of things during the war.

Magnet release is genetic right? But wait, Shukaku's jutsus are magnet release now... So does the Jin get sand manipulation form Shukaku or from Magnet Release? Are they the same? Which is Gaara's sand manipulation from? Does he have both?

And don't even get me started on his automatic shield of sand. (technically none of his abilities could have come from Shukaku. None.)

Jinton. It's a more advanced KKG, which until now is genetic (it's literally in the name of the abilities). So it's passed down? Do you have to be born with it, and those who are just happen to be strong enough to become Tsuchikage? Are the Tsuchikage chosen based on who has Jinton? Is Jinton taught to those that the Tsuchikage has a boner for at the time?

Right?

Honestly I don't even think Magnetic release is genetic. If that was case, wouldn't Gaara, Temari, or Kankuro have shown the ability? Gaara only received it from Shukkaku, and Kishimoto said in a little DB Q & A that Gaara would keep his powers because "once it is ingrained, it doesn't go away"

Source:

But then it literally makes no sense what's so ever. The Kazekage learned it from watching Shukkaku. Okay, sounds like bull shit, but Minato learned to make a Bijuudama-like technique called the Rasengan. So go figure.

Gaara gains the ability from Shukkaku, okay, makes sense. Nothing wrong here so far...

Then there's Sasori who literally learns it from where? He's not related to the Kazekage line, nor, is he a Jinchuriki. Now there's Shinki who is also manipulating iron sand. Either there is a Suna tripe/Clan that can manupilate Iron sand, or this is just simple bull crap writing.

Lmao apparently his shield of sand is a power that his mother had. Despite not having the ability to manipulate sand at all. I'm just going to bet on a fabricated lie based on Shukkaku's will.

Jinton just seem like a stroke of luck tbh. Don't you need to have the right elemental natures to perform it? That becomes difficult since you can't choose your elemental natures. The current Tschukage can't perform the ability either.

You are basing this on....? Shinki had about 2 seconds of screentime in the movie and is someone Kishi looks to have put minimal effort into. He is filler until he gets any development in the Boruto manga. And Yodo was actually thought to be Suna's best hope for the chunin exams. That was stated in the novel.

As for Yurui? You are waaaaaay off.
Shikadai has been hailed as a prodigy amongst the Nara clan, having inherited his father's intellect and possessing the Kazekage clan bloodline.[1][3] He was considered a much more difficult opponent for Boruto during the Chūnin Exams; and said to be definitely well above the level of his previous opponent Yurui of Kumogakure[/B].[2]
That canon as written in the novel. Shikadai was on a different level than Yurui, owned Yodo who was hyped in the novel, and one of the favs to win. It probably would have been Mitsuki vs. Sarada vs. Shikadai at the end. I also doubt we ever see the Shins again so who cares? They were so awful in Gaiden that I pretend they do not exist.

The novels also would have you believe that Haruno's are renowned for genjutsu, and that inner Sakura and Inner Sarada are sources of Chakra like a jinchuriki.

I see what you mean, but Chiyo didn't seem to be too foreign to the idea, not surprised at the ability. More surprised that the third Kazekage was slain by Sasori.

Sasori actually never learned it. His human puppet already had it

Oh is that so? Was the puppet from his father or someone closely related? Just replace what I said with Sasori knowing it, with the human puppet who had the abilities.

I know Sasori isn't related to Gaara so it wouldn't make sense either-way unless the puppet who had the abilities was related to the Kazekage somehow.

The puppet in fact was the Third Kazekage.
