Been thinking about this one for awhile.
Now we know both luffy and kidd are paramecias but luffys whole body has become stretchy and rubbery. With kidd, we just know he can attract and repel all metals. In shabody, we saw luffy do his gear 3 alongside kidd with a metal hand the same size as luffys gear 3.
After the 2y time skip, weve seen luffy improve his earlier gears as well as add a 4th gear. When luffy does gear 2, he can simply pump his legs without bending down or anything.
Now, considering kidd is as strong as luffy, what would be some powerups kidd attained during the 2 year time skip? Well like I mentioned earlier, both are paramecias but kidds body is still normal human flesh but had a similar attack to luffys gear 3. Using that move as a base, i would assume kidds left arm is the equivalent of luffys gear 2 jet pistol
Luffys limbs can stretch to hit far opponents. With a magnetic metal arm, you can freely repel it at a opponent at a speed i would assume is on par with a jet pistol etc.
Gear 3 and kidds giant metal hand are equivalent
Nows we recently saw luffys gear 4. What could be kidds equivalent? Now following my theory, kidd has similar attacks to luffy so his gear 4 equivalent would be metal cyborg like. Having a metal suit doesn't make you a cyborg exactly, but kidd would be in a metal suit probably clad in haki and probably similar size to luffy in gear 4. Kidd might even possibly(this would be my hope) already have the metal pieces specifically for his gear 4 equivalent scattered throughout the new world or on his ship. This wouldn't be a longshot considering in shabody, he was capable of attracting all the metal on the island .
