Pride and dignity are a thing of the past. In olden days, people used to commit suicide (some still do) to preserve their honor. Nowadays, it's a rare affliction few suffer from. But, fear not, at the rate with which media and the idiot box are becoming the norm ... that might end sooner than we think.

You should be smacked for that:
Time to focus on dignity and pride. Nowadays people are always whining and microcomplaing.
Every time someone is victimized, people portray their weakness for the world to see, making them feel weak and ashamed.
what a joke the world has become.
What about that Sikh guy that got jumped? From now on, everyone will just refer to him as the guy that got jumped. All his coworkers will pity him in someway. If he does something noteworthy at work, they'll just think of him as the guy that got jumped. It's hard to exude alpha male charisma when everyone thinks of him as having been punked.
What about Cecil the lion. No longer a proud beast that died in battle. Just another victim to feel sorry for.
What about the fake clock bomb kid, in the future, all his college buddies will give him shit for how he got punked by society. Imagine him trying to pick up chicks, they won't think of him as an alpha male, even though they will feel sorry for him and sympathize. Talk about emasculation.
Time to focus on dignity and pride. Screw pity and crying!
