The Itachi arc is part of the naruto shippuden anime. In ither words filler arc that will at least have 10 episodes adding to the already 25 epsiodes of filler 35 episodes of filler more or less. Anyway in tis case the filler won't end till at least may.

Which is really insane and illogical , what do they think they're doing to their fans? They are constantly stabbing us.

It's sort of worth the wait because we have an Itachi anime filler. It's also better if SP doesn't rush the Naruto vs Sasuke fight so let them take their time. If they rush with all of their Naruto anime production then we won't have Naruto in the next decade.

I'm not suprised,you guys should have expected this,it's all strategy,it's the perfect time for them to do something like this since the anime just has few more episodes till it ends. If something like this had happened around pain arc the anime would surely have been cancelled like bleach for too much fillers,but now is the perfect milking time for sp.

To be honest, I actually like the filler, and I also think it is interesting because it has Minato as a Hokage instead of Tsunade during that time. Sasuke seems to be jealous of Naruto while everyone else worries about the Uchiha clan. Itachi is badass as well and his father cares for Sasuke, however he thinks Itachi is more special. Kushina on the other hand is like a mom who cares for her children, Naruto.

So basically, this filler takes place back to the time where Minato and Kushina did not passed away, and now they are changing the plot by that moment.

Do you think Minato will fight?
