Everything he used was because of an injection. No training required. He essentially told Sasuke that himself, and Kishi showed us exactly what he wanted us to see.

It's literally in the manga that he trained to master Sage mode. An injection didn't give him that ability and you sound pretty foolish claiming that it did.

Which in turn implies that he only had to know how to gather the Senjutsu chakra, not balance it within his body, similar to how Jiraiya entered Sage Mode.

Which further implies that he didn't actually have to train whatsoever, as imperfect sage mode requiring only senjutsu chakra without balance is possible with Jugo's cells.
