Panthalassa realized he was now standing over shark infested wate, and, more than ever, he was extremely aware of his own mortality.

I guess i just have the tendency of putting myself in mortal peril without even noticing...

But, to be honest, I love the ocean,i love water, and sharks are water personified. Lethal, scary, versatile and have a whole lot of personality.

"Phorcys, Wait! Let's take a minute to ta-"

Percy was interrupted as another shark tried to rush towards the man, having to stop and use his aquatic body to push him back.

"Geez, you guys just ate....as you can see, they're a little bloodthirsty. You sure you can control these things? They only listen to people who are as cunning as they are and bloodthirsty. They don't listen to me for some reason....anyway, you sure? "

As some sharks lovingly caress against Pantha's leg, he quickly leaps out of the water.

Damn, their skins are sharp! I did hear they had tiny teeth all over their bodies, but I wouldn't have guess they'd be this sharp! I believe they're called dermal denticles?

They have a jaw unattached to their cranium, several fins, most having 8, including a dorsal fin, pectoral fins and a caudal fin, and gills to the side, which they use to breath underwater, where they live. They can track their prey through a heightened sense of blood and even sense electrical signals. They have a lateral line which allows them to sense vibrations in the water around them, sort of like a motion detector.

Panthalassa performed the handseals and then slammed his signing hand, which already had blood, onto the surface of the water, calling forth a shark.

Description: To summon the creature the ninja will wipe blood on his hand, perform the Boar → Dog → Bird → Monkey → Ram handseals and then touch the ground or another object, where a sealing formula will appear. Though it appears that as long as significant pressure is placed against the blood in some form, the summon will be complete, most summoning uses use a solid surface, though in some cases it can even be done mid air. There can be variations to the summoning steps, some ninja like Temari will wipe blood on her fan, then by swinging the fan the animal is summoned. Other ninja like Orochimaru wipe the blood across a snake tattoo on their arm first, then touch the ground. Others will clap their hands directly like Nagato through the use of his Animal Path. The user must have signed the contract with the creature he wants to summon but the technique can be used to summon a generic creature of that contract (B-Rank) which will have no special traits or abilities beyond those normal to the rest of the animals in the contract. The animal is always summoned on the mark that appears upon slamming the users hand or, if not the case, always in short range of the user.

Custom ones) can be made with their own source, so that's cool as hell. Anyway, you summoned a generic Great White shark. Small in comparison to advanced ones, but one of the more basic sharks that Kisame used. Speaking of which, you don't know any Shark Ninjutsu do you? Wait ofc you don't, this is your first time being here. So let's handle that now.

The technique itself is really simple, my only question is, do I have access to these techniques henceforth, or only when I chose to utilize my shark contract in a certain battle, in opposition to my other contract, the Flies.

He says, as he performs the jutsu, creating a shark of water than has the same size and appearance than the shark he summoned.

The more I use this, the more I notice it's basically the same as the last one, just with seals and more range, so we'll skip this one.

Much simpler, you jump up, right? Then you form a shark of water around a sword and stab someone. I'd make the shark bite them as they get stabbed. Badass combo, man.
