I'm for it, and I don't understand the backlash of a black female having a leading role in a play such as this. Though, I do have an issue with the timing and confirmation of her race. Rowling made her racially ambigous so when she no longer has to worry about sales, she could pass it off as Hermione being a PoC the whole time, that's messy.

Did you read the page in the pic? Hermoine's white face, how is she racially ambiguous? Rowling has been coming out since the end of the book and said she would have made it different if she did it now. Also it's not about a black lead for most people it's about race changing a character for perceived equality and inclusion, the irony is they do it in the most generic and stereotypical way, frizzy hair must be black if you said that about a real life person and not a character you'd be called racist; Danny Rand is Ironfist a martial artist rather than cast a white actor to play a white character let's use an Asian for diversity because all ASians do martial arts, it's so corny and ironically racist it'd be laughable if it weren't so depressing.
