No OP. Sasuke just didn't want to be alone, of course he needs his time off as proven by his journeys around the world and dimensions but mainly Naruto fight was for Sasuke not to carry burdens and be alone, diving into dark waters of loneliness as so nicely presented in Shippuden opening #8.
