Why do people hate Sakura?

Okay, stop. Her love for Sasuke is a part of the plot, but you obviously seem ignorant in what the emotion feels like. It makes you do and feels things you can't understand, especially when you're emotionally frustrated and constantly rejected by the one you love.

She doesn't care about her friends, her village, even herself, she only cares about being with Sasuke.

I'm sure she does care about her friends, her village and her herself, but she's a teenage girl in the midst of a love that you could not even began to comprehend. You don't know what it's like, and if you don't know you shouldn't judge.
She would do anything, anything to be with this boy that she longed so deeply for, this boy that she saw was in such need of help as his own world was falling apart, and she could not even begin to bare to see him go through such an immense and painful struggle!

Sakura should have had enough self-respect to stop throwing herself at a guy that hates her guts and focused on being a better konoichi.

There are several girls who should have gotten out of their relationship when his hand first stung their face, there were several girls who should have loved and respected themselves more, but you couldn't even fathom the depths of their love for that man, that rejects any pain he inflicts upon them, that transcends beyond even our humanly capability of understanding.

She should have learned that protecting the village is more important than her personal feelings. Maybe she should have joined ANBU as a tracker ninja to stop anyone else from betraying the village.

Oh, i'm sorry :sdo: is their relationship suppose to be perfect? Because theres this thing called reality that basically one shots perfection. Every couple has their flaws in relationship. Again, you're setting you're expectations waaay to high for Sakura, near perfect. There has to be some conflict, and you have to take into consideration that said conflict won't always be something you're use to, because this is a manga taking place in in odd world. Which justifies sakura going back to Sasuke after he tried to kill her three times, which no girl outside of a manga would do.

I think I too would have been extremely obssessed with helping someone that I once loved so much, after seeing them do all the crazy sh*t Sasuke did :sdo: human nature, again, she's not perfect.

Human error, not the best judgement and decisions skills, like all of us. I think it's really are faults that her making her seem more human and realistic than any other character.

Sorry to say, but her love is just like all the fan girls. Her being in Team 7 is an excuse to get "closer" to him. Sasuke has his reasons for cutting off his emotions but Sakura has no right to act like she knows how he feels and is practically desperate to be with him. Especially when he left the village.

I agree, her love was just like any other fangirls, but as she became more involved with him, her love for him grew into something more. And when you have that level of attachment to somebody, just to see them walk down a road of their own self-destruction (multiplied by her level of emotional frustration), then of course you get desperate to be with them, so that you can save them from the cruel and twisted path that they've taken. Not only her, but Naruto too. Bonds aren't just something you can break and be done with, bro. People get hurt, things become complicated. If Sasuke thought it would be easy to turn his back on his friends to join the dark side, he had another thing coming :sdo: the will to strive forth for so long in pursuit of justice for their friends, that's what I admire most about both Naruto and Sakura. I would have given up along time ago, especially when faced with seemingly unbeatable obstacles like Orochimaru, Itachi ext. But they kept going, they kept finding the courage, the will, the audacity to move forward, because their bonds with and their love for Sasuke was just that incomprehensibly deep. So deep that, yes, they both continued to pursuit him even after he attempted to kill them three times. Yes, they were determined to break bones and sweat no matter what with the life dream of getting Sasuke back, a dream that in essence overshadowed Naruto's dream to become Hokage and bring peace to the world. To have a love that deep, of course they did all the totally illogical and insensible things they did. You couldn't even began to understand, you question it even, because you have never ever in your life experienced a bond and love and connection so deep with someone like Sasuke. You don't know what it was like to personally know and be with and grow bonds with him, this hurt boy with a broken past that you wanted nothing more than to help heal

You all question Sakura's actions because you could not fathom a world in which her actions make sense, because you have remained ignorant to the sheer magnitude of the strength of the bond between Naruto, Sasuke and Her. Imagine that, a bond so powerful, so strong that you would keep chasing after it even after it has tried to kill you and has discouraged you for so long. You can't! You cannot possibly imagine something so strong and powerful because it's unfathomable, we could not even begin to wrap our heads around the concept. Sasuke is the only one, who after denying it, discouraging it, and running away from it for so long, finally understood the depths of what the three of them had together.
