Anyway, they were previously humans who were trapped in Infinite Tsukuyomi by Kaguya and later turn into White Zetsu. During the 4th Great Ninja World, they were boosted with Hashirama cells by Kabuto to strengthen Obito's White Zetsu Army.

they where victims of IT, which where then released by black zetsu when madara added a bunch of hashi DNA to the gedo mazou. so yes, they do have hashi DNA, but they are not 100% hashirama.

theres also more than one wz from the mazou before the clone army, they gone lol.
the zetsus changed so much during te series. it started off as some half white black plant man, then wz became a hashi clone and bz madaras will , then IT victims and kaguyas will. wouldnt be suprised if they changed again lol

Pretty much sakura and shizune finding hashiramas DNA in the zetsus comes from yamato after kabuto used him, plus madara put some of hashiramas DNA in them to when he first used the mazo

They were IT victims but I can't help but think that there is still some connection between Hashirama's DNA (Grants Mokuton and allowed Obito and Madara to control the Juubi) and the White Zetsu anyways since they were "created" through the Shinju from the remains of the victims. Hashirama's DNA in particular though seems to be connected to the Shinju and I also believe that was the reason why his DNA could be used to strengthen them. Only his DNA though not just any Senju which also happens to grant Mokuton to the one with implanted DNA.

It is not exactly the same, but close to it.
Some of Hashirama's DNA is infused to them though.
Also the empowered White Zetsus are empowered with Yamato, who has Hashirama's DNA.
Hashirama has the genes to use Mokuton and humans in the past have been turned into white Zetsus by Kaguya using the Shinju (who is basically one big Mokuton).
So the White Zetsus are really similar to Hashirama's DNA but not exactly the same.
Seeing the Senju and the Uchiha have origins in Otsutsuki, Kaguya, Shinju, Hagoromo and Ashura and Indra, it makes sense that Hashirama his DNA, Mokuton and White Zetsu have similarities.
I dont think that it is exactly the same though and that you cant summon Edo Hashirama through White Zetsu material.
