I don't get why you're using those sordid details to downplay the series when they've nothing to do with the point of discussion. And it seems like you forgot the fact that Naruto,the series which you think is designed to attract adults also originates from the same nation as the one you're currently accusing for being childish. Statistics usually are made by performing tests on very limited number of people/ test subjects. Japan is a nation with more than enough population to make conclusions using them as references.

Judging from your posts, I can see that your knowledge on the series is mediocre. So, I ask of you to actually go through the whole series before judging it's quality. I am in my early 20's,the same as you I guess and I like Naruto way more than One Piece due to my personal preferences but I can say that without any kind of hesitation that One Piece is a far better manga series than Naruto. I've never seen someone who bothered himself by reading whole series and thinks of it as lowly as you do. It's definitely not designed to attract kids, It attracts all kinds of people.

On the other hand Naruto "fans" themselves call Naruto trash.

Also I have never heard of someone liking One Piece more, but calling Naruto the better manga objectively. But I have seen people who straight up say they prefer Naruto, yet One Piece is the superior work, just as you have. That should give people a clue.

The sad part about it is that it didnt start that way. Part 1 was really good, and part 2 was good at first then started fluctuating then just quit trying all together. That war arc man... All this deabate on naruto vs OP actually makes me sad because there was a time when naruto was good.
