Let me ask you this...why would it not be cannon..it would not make sense for it to be non canon. Its been a year only since the manga ended...its canon. If it isnt....would kishi pull a super himself 10 or 15 years down the road. Doubt it.

Both series are not based on the original author's work, even though both series were supervised by the original creators. OP has a point. That's not to say Kishimoto won't say that Boruto is canon, it very well may be.

I love One Punch Man, but "ok" is a terrible way to debate points in any side, and it doesn't develop anyone's critical thinking skills. The very manga panel was meant to satirize how super-serious Shounin "penis length" boasts were when battles start. The panel has no business here.

Akira toriyama designed the chars for DBGT and left the story to someone else Kishi is starting the Boruto manga then he will be over seeing the rest of the story. so i say it is canon. plus it will be a manga DBGT was not a manga

the person that was involved with the Boruto Naruto movie as well which is canon

When will people understand the term 'canon'? Did you see Kishi point out that fillers are not canon? Authors don't deal with this term, they won't point out 'something is not canon'.

It's up to the readers to judge. And people will view this as they please, I personally can't consider this canon if it's not Kishi's work.
