It kinda bugged me how Sasuke gave his family the cold shoulder in Gaiden. So I have to ask: How does Sasuke treat Sarada and Sakura in the Boruto movie? Does he show more emotion towards them than during Gaiden?

I believe so, but after all he's just a drawing. Why does that matter?

Not just a drawing. A character. And of course we don't read an entire story without valuing characters and their relationships.

They don't have many scenes together in the first place. Sasuke has two scenes with Sarada and one with Sakura. In one of them Sarada is telling Sasuke to take it easy on Boruto basically. Not much happens between them...There is a scene where Sasuke saves Sarada and asks her if she's okay. And at the end of the movie Sasuke is shown next to Sakura on a rooftop. They don't talk. They just watch over the village next to each other...the movie mainly focuses on Boruto and the exams.
