Gambling on the Trump Wall.

I was going to bet a decent sum of money that without the trump wall, things will backfire eventually.

My friend got offended that I would even consider placing monetary bets on something like this.

What is wrong? Why shouldn't the right beliefs result in financial profit and the wrong beliefs result in financial loss? It just seems right to me.

Politics is essentially a risky business. So why not bet on it as well?

Voting shouldn't be risk free. It should be like stocks where people place money into the votes, and if things work, they get money back, it it doesn't they lose their money.

That way there is accountability. People will actually think before they vote.
