I don't understand why Madara would tell Gai that Gai almost killed him.

When Madara was fighting Gai, he had a lot of chakra: his own), Bijuu, Juubi, Mokuton, the elemental chakra, and Indra's reincarnated chakra (that might be considered part of his basic chakra). I don't understand why Madara would tell Gai that Gai almost killed him when Madara had all chakra that would let him heal and was almost as strong as Hagoromo (even Hagoromo said this when talking to Naruto).

From the Yin-Yang Release article on Naruto Wiki:
Yin relates to one's spiritual energy and Yang relates to one's physical energy, and it's necessary to utilise both of these in order to mould chakra for ninjutsu.
Were Hagoromo to give his chakra to Gai, how would it be different if Gai had Yang chakra to fight Madara than if he used Yin chakra to fight Madara?

Gai almost killed Madara because Gai ALMOST smashed through Madara's heart, and if he had, Madara at that point
would not be able to regenerate from such a wound, which meant he would've died. Thus, Gai ALMOST killed him.

As for your second point, Gai MIGHT develop a rinnegan or RSM from Hagoromo, and although a RSM would be more inline
and help Gai more as it boosts his physical stats more directly, just the sheer power of the extra chakra either way,
multiplied by the Gates would have allowed Gai to EASILY slaughter Madara either way (if he still used 8 Gates) his
EE would've been enough to KO him.

And actually, with that boost, 5 gates or more should already be enough for Gai to trash Madara.

Doesn't matter what chakra you got boy you get a bullet to the dome and you're dead

In this case, madara was kicked hard as **** in the lung and heart. Case closed

The rush and excitement Madara felt after so long, he as a Uchiha enjoys the heat of battle and only ever acknowledging one other for being so strong of a opponent to face he wanted to show Gai some respect as a warrior by acknowledging his hard work and skill.

Madara said he was immortal not invincible. Immortals can be killed, invincibles cannot.immortals die when dealt a deadly blow.so Gai dealt a blow 85% deadly. That's y

Mate, that's the other way around.
Immortal = not mortal (aka undying)
Invincible = no victory (cannot be defeated)

Latin serves you well...
