Ok, I know it could be a silly question, but I'm starting to think that there is quite a lot of Christianism and Christian symbology in Naruto serie. For example, when Nagato stands up for Rinne Tensei no Jutsu, it reminds a lot the death of Christ in his cross, or also the moment in which Minato crushes Tobi in the ground with Rasengan, looks similar at the scene when Michael Archangel does more or less the same with Lucifer/Satan.
Naruto himself has something similar to Jesus, as a "messiah" he lights hope on the hearts of people who really felt totally blackhearted or apathic.
What are your thoughts? No insults or blasphemy please :yeah:

There is a massive amount of Christian references in Naruto. You can read some of them in the first half of this theory :

Let the glorious flame war begin!

Anyway, no. Those may bear some resemblance to Christian imagery, but that is only a coincidence. For example, Nagato's Six Paths Jutsus are a reference to bhuddism.

There might be some resemblances here and there but I mostly think Buddhism and shintuism or however you write that religions name had the most influences.

Was about to say the same thing. A lot of the lore, the jutsus and even the character's names are based off of Buudhism or Japanese myths.

Christianity is actually the one that borrows a lot from other religions which came before it. I won't get into depth about it though since OP asked us not to.

You're looking at it the wrong way. There is pretty much none. The only thing that comes close would be the huge cross on Nagato's machine, but other than that I really don't see anything.

Also, it's Christianity, not Christianism.

It does exist but it doesn't make sense in the context you're using it.

The word Christianism is being used as a descriptive term for Christian political conservatives mostly in the United States, for the ideology of the Christian Right, meant as a counterpoint to "Islamism".[1][2]

Don't apologize. It's not native for me either so I also tend to make mistakes. (Grammar sucks >.>)
